Why haven't you guys added Visa and other credit cards? Do the cc comapnies not allow you to purchase coins with them? I just think it could open up these coins to a whole lotta people. Bank transfers take time.

Using CC would open up a can of worms. too much fraud! Bank transfers take time but are more secure and you still get to buy coins. Great Job Scharmbeck!

What is the average turn-around for a wire transfer? And at which point in the process is the price locked?

Fast and convenient!   This will really help bring crypto to the masses as well as possibly stabilize the market long term.  (in the short term, I see some nice spikes)

Actually not 100% true. We DO in fact have a way to use credit cards, though it's certainly not as efficient or easy.

Wire transfers seem to happen 1-2 business days but all timeframes are not 100% set in stone yet. The price is locked in on actual purchase, there is a note of slight market fluctuation when you click to purchase.

It is the #1 online payment system in the Netherlands and is fairly easy to set up. There's a huge market for cryptocurrencies currently in this country and it would be great if you add this service.

I'm seeing quite a healthy mix myself. It's good to see new people on the forums aren't all falling for the new premined craze of rubbish coins being released right now.

I may have a low post count, but I've been here since April last year.  I mostly lurk, use IRC, and the trollbox at btc-e.  So while my post count here may be low, I can guarantee it is not elsewhere.  :)

People have been calling Scharmbeck a scam since it was first announced and now that it has FINCEN approval and people are actually beta testing it nobody wants to believe it is legit. Too bad for them.

WDC gets over looked because most of our discussion takes place on our own forum and IRC chat. We aren't constantly bumping our main thread every two minutes to discuss upcoming developments like most of the garbage coins around here are.

Now we want to bring this to the attention of the bitcointalk community and you are going to try and call us out?

There's going to be a lot of butthurt people around here that chased after every coin hyped here on bitcointalk but dismissed WDC.

Really like the look of this and been following for a few weeks.
Given up trying to mine WDC as i seem to get very eratic results, but i bought 400, and managed to day trade an extra 15 today (thats as much as my nerves could handle!). Not gonna make me rich anytime soon but at least im in the game :)

Scharmbeck seems like it'll be a hard name to market. People probably won't even know how to pronounce it.

I feel like you could pick a name that would make it much easier for people to share and discuss it which would help its growth and adoption once released.

Worldcoin has been holding at a steady $0.45-$0.50 recently.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Worldcoin reacts to Scharmbeck release in the next few weeks...

Easier to buy WDC for USD. Most exchanges don't support USD and the ones that do now are not easy to get funds into. At least from North America.

This service will make purchasing WDC easy for those inexperienced with cryptocurrencies. Will also allow merchants to get into and out of WDC without a lot of hassle and risk. Something that is needed for long term adoption s a payment method.

It's because there are now 1,001 alts out there and, let's be honest, Worldcoin isn't that exciting.

BUT, this can be good news.  What we are seeing is a rush of stupidity to create, pump and dump alts.  When the smoke clears after the bubble bursts, the only alts people will pay attention to will be those with substance.

IMHO, pump and dump these useless coins while they are profitable and just keep buying up this cheap WDC.  May the price continue to drop until the day people start to "trade smart" with their crypto.

Is the perception that Scharmbeck will depress prices on the Exchanges if it becomes easier to buy them with fiat?  Few things I'm not clear about (and I'm a WDC supporter) is how is Scharmbeck is going to establish the price and how is it going to provision user balances?  Is it going to offer WDC from it's own holdings?  Anyone know?

i think people do not realize how great this actually is. This makes it SUPER easy for any merchant to include WDC on their website. This could honestly be huge. If some major websites would start to use it, others will follow.

I've been using Scharmbeck for two weeks now and it's really great - would be happy to answer any questions.

It's probably too soon to get a definite answer to this, but here goes:

Do the merchant tools auto-exchange and (optionally) sweep to the merchant's bank account via ACH each day? As a merchant myself, I envisage the transaction flow working like this:

Customer reaches checkout payment page and sees total in USD -> chooses to pay with WDC -> amount in WDC at the current exchange rate is shown either on a Scharmbeck page or the merchant's own page (API calls?), customer makes payment from their wallet or Scharmbeck balance -> merchant is notified with something like a PayPal IPN notification -> WDC is auto-exchanged to USD at the agreed upon exchange rate (if the merchant has chosen not to hold WDC) -> once each day the USD balance is sent via ACH to the merchant's bank account (if they so choose, manual withdrawals otherwise).

This would make accepting WDC broadly similar to accepting credit cards or PayPal, but with lower transaction fees and zero chargeback risk. I, for one, would be all over integrating a solution like this into my businesses.
