Bitwhizz since you are in contact with the red fury team can you ask them to pay the royalties to the developer aauer1 for the design. They are currently 3+ months overdue.

I bought some of those when they were first released but they only achieve around 2.2 Ghz

are these the same ones - or are they version 2/ moded (pencil mod)/replaced resistors to get full performances?

2. last batch some of the units were DOA

As with any groupbuy etc, how can anyone state any kind of interest when there is no indication or whatsoever on price???

All I can say is, sure I'd like some (like 10-15) but it completely depends on the price

The price would need to be right for me to order a bunch of them. Right now, the site says 125 GBP which is way too much for them.

When they were first sold they were 120$ per unit!
Why the increase in price?
after all this time + second batch (reduced manu. cost) + increased diff.

First of all - we don't know which version of red fury these are - if they are GEN1 then they will produce for most users 2~2.2 GHz.

Secondly - we can buy YellowJacket 2.2GH for 90$ (although they are pre-orders - they are expected to ship next week)

Thirdly - you yourself are selling bitmain U1 units for 0.08BTC that can easily be overclocked to 2GHz with cooling (witch most people already have)

Forth point - you are not taking into consideration the giant leap in difficulty since these first came into the market & the fact that
this is a second batch & manufacturing cost should be lower

I understand you trying to make a profit from noobs on your site - but for bitcointalk users prices should be more reasonable  :(

 yeah .12 for your stick is not going to cut it. 
 The antminer u1 oc's to 2gh with a simple line of code in a .bat file.
  it can  be had for .07

  I have had red fury,  Nano 'ice' fury.  while they may or may not hash as high as 2.8gh.  my best red fury hashed at  2.8-2.95
 they all are hit or miss in quality control and some are hard pressed to get to 2.5gh.

The antminers u1 all get 1.9-2.0 with the over clock .  but the real key  to them is power use.  I am running 36 of them on a 49 port hub with 2 fans.  that setup draw 115 watts at the plug.  the antminers will work on shitty usb bricks at the 2.0 gh oc.    getting 10 to work on a 10 port hub is a piece of cake.. getting 10 red furies on a 10 port hub to work is hard.
they crash  so 6 work better.  They red fury are 2x the size and weight of an antminer u1  so they do not fit well on hubs.

  at .07 vs .12 I am buying antminers.
 at .07 vs  .09-.095 I would buy either.

here is a 2 stick sale of antminers i did.  this offer sells very fast. simple math 4gh for 180usd for ants  vs 2.5gh for 222usd for 1 fury above

yes he is poaching but the attempt to poach shows that the op is asking too much for these sticks.

a nano fury at  his price is a lot better deal.  I went to his link and  he has no real heatsink I would think it will over heat. even at his lower price point it does not really stack up against the ant miner.  and it is a  preorder heh!  fucking late 7 to 14 days!

still bad form...

  agreed and I just edited my post above because his stick is a pre order (already 10 days late heh!)  and it has no real heat sink  so the 90usd price is no bargain
