Title: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: darvil on February 28, 2011, 08:45:14 PM I just found out my comp loss power about an hour ago. It was down for an hour I think.
When I started it back up I saw this message "Generated (50.00 matures in 94 more blocks)." with 26 confirmations about 4 hours ago. I didn't see what block it was as my machine went down. Does that means this block is a loss? Or since its been confirmed I should get in later? Murphy law at its best. I've been at it for almost a week now and this has to happen. This is my first generated block too. Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: Cryptoman on February 28, 2011, 08:46:34 PM Unless the power loss damaged your wallet, you will get your 50 BTC after 120 blocks.
Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: darvil on February 28, 2011, 08:54:05 PM Is there a way to verify it?
Unlikely it was affected but I guess I just have to wait and see. Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: SmokeTooMuch on February 28, 2011, 09:07:07 PM I am sure you will receive them.
Don't worry about that. Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: darvil on February 28, 2011, 09:18:54 PM Hey thanks alot ;)
Yea I see the thing counting down .. we're at 92 so its getting nearer. My first self block so its a big deal. I don't know if this is luck as self generating is becoming too difficult. Probably will have to join one of the pools. Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: SmokeTooMuch on February 28, 2011, 10:00:03 PM My first self block Congratulations.Title: Re: Comp restarted (what happens?) Post by: casascius on February 28, 2011, 10:20:20 PM If you want to see the block number (on Windows) hold down Ctrl and the numpad "+" key...it will unhide some fields, one of which is the block number (the first one)
