They tend to get picked off pretty quickly, but we are working on a huge update that will hopefully dramatically increase the availability of orders. I just did the "check spending ability" of $150k on the amex site and it was approved.
No subscriptions or anything that could rebill though, and I'm going to say only legit looking sites, I'm not trying to get my card stolen. Obviously lower limits apply for gift/reload cards. I don't think AML applies to physical goods, I'm just a reseller/drop shipper in that case.
