their are many other alt coins that use sha 256 i want to redirect and mine 4 alt types of coins in the same time is it possible with one device? Read the CGMiner README and you can see the difference between the two, and how you can tweak your hashrate to split it up exactly how you want. Works pretty well, actually.

You can't mine multiple types of coins on the same hardware. That is also right in the CGMiner README. You can split the hashrate up between several Bitcoin pools, but you can't mine Bitcoin and Terracoin at the same time. |
