Title: what does "relayed" exactly mean?
Post by: xZork on January 04, 2014, 06:34:57 AM
I have been mining and running a node for a bit now but am a bit confused. From what I understand ever time a block is mined xy amount of transactions are processes based on the, I know I am not saying this right, but the block size cap if you will (x= data limit per block), and what the miner wishes to transact of that limit (y). So after those transactions are processed, they need to be verified by the network to make sure they are legit transactions and stay true to the blockchain. Now, if I didn't completely mess that up, what does relay mean? Is that the same as a verification?

I hope I am not way off here.

Thanks for reading.
