Title: Curecoin? Anyone?
Post by: Capttech08 on January 04, 2014, 06:26:39 PM
I have been following the development of a new coin called "Curecoin". https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330685.0

The idea is instead of breaking an algorythm just to prove you are mining, it has you solve protein strand make up. Exactly like folding at home. Solving these protein strands can help cure/solve diseases, develop new medicine/vaccines etc. And you get paid in a crypto currency that can be exhacnged/sold which is something folding at home does not do.

But, I have not been able to find anything new on it in a while now and wanted to know if anyone else had heard of this, or is working on it. I would love to hear "It has been launched for 6 months noob. Where've you been? Here is a link".

Thanks

There isn't much info out yet, but have you tried their forum? http://www.curecoin.us/
IF you haven't read the folding guide - http://curecoin.us/index.php?topic=9.0
