Netcoin looks promising.  You could mine that and then trade up to Litecoin or Bitcoin using an exchange.

You should mine dogecoin as it's still a very profitable coin now.

Buy coins, don't mine. You make more profit that way. BTC is going to be over $1000 next week.

Agree with Strate.  The last three things I've mined are Giftcoin, Mooncoin, & Dogecoin.  When I first started I mined Litecoins but then the difficulty got crazy and I stopped that.

Trying from smaller coins is a good one. I last saw a POW coin called EPIC. You can try mining EPIC coins, the last price is $1 with the same supply as 21 million bitcoins. EPIC coins are privacy coins that can be mined. Source https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/epic-cash/

Mine at Pool Mining, this method is simply, which is that you join strength with other miners in a pool for Mining Bitcoin.
Later, you share the rewards for the results obtained from the Bitcoin mining.

This thread is a very old thread from 2014 that got necro bump by the user that interact here by that time. I think the question of the main OP is already negligible for the sake of discussion here. Although it's good to see someone from 2014 that comeback here to prove that he did the right choice after 7 years. I hope that the quoted guy below still hold his doge that he got from mining.

Dude, can you provide screenshot in case you are still holding your mine Doge since 2014? This will be a great story here in the forum.  :D

A good mined coin is usually an early mining coin. You can search for it even on this forum. Go straight to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

There you can see many coins even you can choose which ones are worth mining.

You can also learn on this forum mine:

If you can mine it the easy way of course it will end up with scams, there is no recommendation for Bitcoin mining with low specs.
Maybe there are sites that offer Bitcoin mining easily in a short time can generate large amounts of Bitcoin. I hope you avoid such sites.
You can visit the official website. In this forum there is a lot of information about mining.

It's something I hear of for the first time. I can offer a better variant. There is a good competitor, even without any investments as it's green mined - Crypton from Utopia p2p https://u.is/en/currencies.html It's also a privacy coin that gained x8 in a week after the latest listing. Another great advantage is that it has its own decentralized no KYC exchange. I think it will be one of the leaders soon.

Damn, this makes everyone want to know if you've held or sold to the top of Dogecoin. Such stories like this are the most interesting to know of.
Or you've sold it before it soared high and it's already several years since you've sold them. We're very interested to know what has happened to you after this post of yours.
