Title: [CAGE] CageCoin pool cage2.valid-error.com has 75% of total hashing power
Post by: gawran on January 05, 2014, 02:01:20 PM
Since this is my first post, I can't post this in proper thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=394958.260 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=394958.260)).

If I am reading this right, valid-error pool currently has 75% of all hashrate on CageCoin (0.644 GH/s vs. 0.857 GH/s).

Isn't that a serious breach in security?

You can check pool hashrate here: http://cage2.valid-error.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Total hashrate can be seen in debug console inside cagecoin-qt with "getmininginfo" command.

That looks like a real weakness having a single pool taking as much as this of the network mining. and most people deal with DOGE as a joke but it's still a currency and there are people investing in it.
