Title: Bitcoin Symbol in Excel Post by: BTC Turkiye on May 19, 2018, 06:06:08 PM Anyone knows how to automatically put ₿ in front of all number amounts in an excel sheet and still keep the cell as a number to be used in somewhere else?
I tried to use the currency setting but Bitcoin is not there. The symbol is only listed in the Symbol box. So you have to manually added which means when you add it like below Code: =" ₿ "&SUM(E3:E34) You can't get the number of that cell and use it somewhere else because it has a manually put symbol in it Title: Re: Bitcoin Symbol in Excel Post by: hugeblack on May 19, 2018, 07:23:45 PM Yes, you can add it automatically. Paste your bitcoin Currency symbol on Currency symbol * 5. click ok, then apply and ok. 6. open excel then use same way for adding $. * you can get bitcoin symbol from "0234 alt+x". Title: Re: add Bitcoin Post by: hugeblack on May 19, 2018, 07:45:45 PM No, if you use this way you will add BTC to your accounting symbols. So you will have BTC, $, .... etc.
You can use it like any other accounting symbols. check -------> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1evdVtcLg8LIUj2Eu19lclUGuP8N0mhFSXRyDBhPIoQQ/edit#gid=0 (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1evdVtcLg8LIUj2Eu19lclUGuP8N0mhFSXRyDBhPIoQQ/edit#gid=0) check -------> https://i.imgur.com/Hd9khdv.png, click here (https://i.imgur.com/Hd9khdv.png) if the picture does not appear.
