I think the name is because its actually really fast :)  Bitcoin takes forever to process the transaction, this one takes seconds, so you would actually be able to use it in stores and such.

How much does a block generate? and is this one a cpu currency or open for all?
Really like the idea of speed transaction though,How do they manage the confirmations etc... ? do they produce more blocks per min period?

it's not fast enough.  neither is quick quick coin.  now if they added a third quick...   8)

Why not investing efforts in something else instead of yet forking 'another coin doing pretty much the same thing with different configuration'?
