Cliffs: A girl is bullying another girl on the train, a huge black woman saves her and beats the crap out of the bully and kicks her off the train.

Just wanted to add we need more people like that. Too many people including adults such as teachers just watch and do nothing as their students are abused by others.

Donate to her? I think she should go to jail. She is not handling that situation in the best way. She let's her emotions take over.

Yeah, she didn't exactly defuse the situation, just assaulted someone. But hey, at least she did something.

i don't know about that, but assaulting the assaulter is more permissible.

That was hardly assault, honestly, when I see people fight it really does remind me of this emperor penguin documentary I watched a bit of once, most of the time it's just a slap fast than anything serious lol, the person doing the attacking usually gives up the moment someone looks like they might fight back.

It should be deleted. Completely irrelevant to this entire forum.

It does raise the question about a public appeal for BTC funds for dubious causes. In this case I agree the second assault is a crime and a court would punish it. You are not allowed to systematically beat and humiliate someone for being a bully and making threats. It would be OK to take her to the floor and restrain her using force until the Police arrive but a beating is illegal and the wrong thing to do. Two wrongs do not make a right. If the Police had turned up and given her the same beating what would people be saying then? They would likely be rioting and burning Police cars.

But quite a few people think it was the right thing to do and should be rewarded. And so the question is - should we be worried about the ease with which BTC makes for the raising of funds for nefarious or illegal activity?

If a terrorist group widely distributed their QR code, what would we and the wider public think?

The that girl turned into a scared mouse within seconds "stop pulling my hair, somebody help me!" Come on you looked combat ready not long ago  :D

That wasn't a beating, if you also think that simply restraining somebody like that is going to work, you don't live in the real world, it does depend on the person but people like that won't leave other people alone until they're made to leave and what exactly was the woman supposed to do if she couldn't restrain her? Sit there and let the other girl get beaten up until the police come if they bother at all? Nah, better to scare her off. As for comparing that woman to police, she hardly herded the girl into a corner and pepper sprayed her or fired a live smoke grenade at her face did she?

Cause they're morons, that said, I'm only going by the title that it was given :P it may well have been a tear gas grenade so my memory must be fuzzy but the guy looked like he was going to fire it at the crowd then just fired it at this girl when she tried to argue with him.

But yeah, as someone who's been on the receiving end of that kind of bullshit before in school, it pisses me off greatly when I see people actually try to excuse it, which is what they're doing when they lecture somebody for defending somebody else. The woman did exactly the right thing, what would have been wrong would be if she for instance chased the girl out onto the station and beat her up there obviously, that's definitely where I draw the line as that's just assault.

I'll let you in on a story on what happened in my old school, there was practically a gang war between two ethnic groups after I left and the teachers couldn't restrain them so they had to bring in riot police to pick a fight and it was only until people were arrested and taken down that they stopped, the only time you can restrain people if they're either outgunned or outnumbered and the people on the receiving end actually know that.

lol I was going to do a youtube search for you :D but now there are even more plastered all over from other countries of people having stun grenades and tear gas launched at them, when it comes to protesters they bring out the worst kind of police, I wouldn't be surprised if they picked the ones that actually enjoy beating up defenceless people to take care of them, then there's all that shit going on in the Ukraine.

O_O Well I can't tell you because I can't find the original youtube clip and it was a long time ago, all I can remember is it was an American protest, but my point is regardless of what grenade the guy was firing he fired the actual projectile at her face but yeah now I'm wondering why a police officer would fire smoke grenades at a crowd too lol.

How exactly is yelling at somebody and peacefully protesting fighting them? We've gone way off topic here :P
