Pool will estimate all personal stats based on accepted shares.  If nearly all shares are rejects/stale, then your hash will come out as nothing.

What's the problem of having a single a pool at startup ? When having more than one pool, there is often a pool with more than 51% which will fork the coin and then a lot of people crying about shitty coins. A single pool at startup and a few more joining when the difficulty has increased is not a bad thing.

Guy wrote me to set up pool, wanted to be ready at start, was ready for start.
Had no time for conspiracy, was working on that winshit wallet.

its kinda funny in a way, the coin difficulty is staying low because effectively only 1 pool is mining... it cant keep up and spitting out 70% invalid shares... so even though there is 110MH worth of pool miners hitting this thing, only 37MH is reaching the network.  Combine that with a 3.5day adjustment and 2k blocks must be found at current difficulty.

Based on that, I think we are on our 3rd or 4th difficulty jump (2 weeks now into mining this coin) and its still at 0.014 diff.

Windows wallets are for small fish so they will compile the wallet after they are done insta-mining it and the difficultly is above 5.

As wonderfully brilliant as your link to a wikipedia article which fails to mention the "addnode" command and where to put it WAS, I was hoping for something a bit more enlightening. There are numerous files in the roaming data file for reserved coin, and I was hoping for something a bit more concrete.

Pool Fail. But, I did manage to cash out what I had mined.  Gone solo for now.

This is the first alt coin I've mined from(alleged) launch..... Can't say that I'm all that impressed.  

Several things people have stated in this post Should be prerequisites before announcing the coin/launch.

Making sure the wallet is compiled and passworded(to be given on launch date/time) pre-launch would probably give a little more faith in any coin.

Pools are set up preferably with a host that can handle it.

An original splash screen would be pleasant too...
