Title: Physical Bitcoin Coin Mining Wallet's Free Domestic Shipping Until Jan 6th
Post by: thomas_s on January 06, 2014, 02:34:46 AM
The DZMC is proud to introduce our new company CryptMint.

https://www.cryptmint.com (https://www.cryptmint.com)

Now that you've mined your coin with us, make a coin with us.On January 5th we launched a new site and company with the goal of bringing Crypto currencies and Fine Metals together with the trustworthy security you have come to expect from our Co-Op. These are .999 Fine Uncirculated Bullion made to order with your QR public address laser engraved on a mirror finish. Show off your metal wallet or as we like to call it 'Pay me here coin' to your friends and family or take payments from business associates.

Cryptmint Physical Bitcoins are brilliant un-circulated (BU) and proof-like or proof quality pressed and individually inspected by hand to ensure a nearly flawless finish. The most important aspect of Cryptmint products is the absolute confidence you can have in their security.
It’s an unfortunate truth, but the number of internet criminals and malicious hackers out there is growing and Bitcoins, like any other form of wealth storage, are a natural target for theft.
The first thing we set out to do when creating the Cryptmint physical Bitcoin was to make sure it would have CERTAINTY OF SECURITY. The only way to guarantee that is to keep the private key in your hands, not our servers or on some printed sticker.
By laser engraving your public key at the time of purchase on the coin, we never see the private key and therefore GUARANTEE THE SECURITY of your Bitcoins is in your hands. Our methodology ensures ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE.

Note that the laser can only print in grayscale.

On the obverse of this commemorative medallion, the Bitcoin symbol is positioned prominently in the center, bordered by a description of the currency’s key features: digital, decentralized and peer-to-peer.

All text on the coin is written in a style with a high-tech, futuristic feel, allowing the coin’s specifications to blend in well with the overall theme.
Your operational QR code of choice decorates the reverse, in dual finish: the foreground is laser engraved, and the background is mirror-finish. When scanned by a smart phone the code directs people to your wallet. You simply enter in your public Bitcoin address and choose the QR design to be lasered onto your coin at the time of order.

When checking out with crypto currency payments ensure you follow some basic rules

1) Send FULL payment within 5 hours (payment must hit 6 confirms for BTC before the 5 hour mark), make sure you ADD a transaction fee to ensure its picked up by the network.

2) After you finish on the payment invoice screen you MUST click Return to Store near the bottom left, if you don't the order is never actually processed by the site even if you send the payment.

You need to see an order# on www.cryptmint.com / get an email from www.cryptmint.com for the order to be recognized.

If you don't follow these rules we will not be able to process your order and you will need to contact our payment processor to resolve any problems / get a refund for the unprocessed order. **THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS**

Shipping
Is done by the USPS services can be chosen prior to checkout.

All packages are shipped insured and the price includes this insurance

FAQ's
Q1) Are these in stock?
A) No we expect them in within the times indicated / or if we reach the goals next to the metal. (Maybe a few are ;)  )

Q2) Do they have a BTC value?
A) No, We do not preload the coins. Also don't ask us to as we won't.

Q3) Do the QR codes actually work?
A) Yes, and we've tested it :) the pictures on the site are ones we made for our tests.

What's the width on these coins? I'm interested as it seems like it would be fun to put it in a bezel, and on a chain  ;D

+1 interested in gold

edit: bought silver, order #12 - please let me know the width if possible :)

Thomas isn't the greatest at knowing where stuff like this supposed to go on the forums,  :D but at least it lets our GB members also see what's being worked on, and other innovations from the co-op leaders.

These coins and the biz we started all came about because we met up on the GB forum, so it is tangentially GB related: as it shows what can happen when GB forum members meet up and team up.

FWIW: these coins are *not* pre-loaded with coins, all we're shipping you is a QR code of one of your public keys for a wallet address on a coin. We never see your private keys while handling your wallet address etching.

You can use these coins for payments to you: such as someone paying you in BTC for something such as an item sold or service rendered.

If it somehow happens to get lost, you're still ok, as your private key is still secure.

==

Coins like this can also make great talking points for discussing BTC and cryptocurrencies with others; as long as you explain that this isn't how BTC usually arrives when you buy it from localbitcoins or Coinbase, for example.   :)

Edit: there's 1 Christmas coin available, if you'd like. Please send a PM to Thomas if you're interested in that one.

I originally created the design your using on your copper, silver coins

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=63259.0

The Aocs mint produced them then also resold them in the US, we had an agreement on a small royalty fee which they would pay on any they sold they continued selling them but didn't honour the agreement we made on the royalty fee.

Could you remove  "mjb monetary metals" from any copper ones that are struck in the future? (I don't believe the silver coins have it on them). That will avoid any confusion as to who produced these.

Spoken to OP - his coins are Produced via a legit mint, issues I have with Aocs mint re- none payment of royalties are unfortunate for me but aren't anything to do with the OP.

Good luck with your venture !

I am interested in a Copper on.

I wanted to buy a Copper on the site, but the BTC address box eats 2 of my address characters at the end. I put in 1Daeg6S4dJFND4w9qToak4vBkPi1H1rucK, it only takes 1Daeg6S4dJFND4w9qToak4vBkPi1H1ru (missing 'cK' at the end). I also tried to contact you from the contact form on the page, but it thinks that there was nothing written in the boxes and errors. I am using Chrome.

I would definitely buy once the issue is resolved..

Very interested!

Would like to buy 2 coins.

Is there a guide on how these coins are used?
do I need to print private keys for this?
is it just an address that I transfer BTC to?

Thanks!

Well it seems we have some good news and bad, good news is the laser was at BTCMiami and was a big hit.

Bad news the motherboard died and we are waiting for a replacement.

Back to some good news the silver coins came from the mint and look beautiful.

I'll take a look at the addresses the site took and whats up with it, worst case I'll take manual orders until it gets fixed. (Not at the moment)
