Title: Need a pool for CacheCoin [200 Cachecoin bounty]
Post by: singula on January 06, 2014, 03:37:33 AM
We need a mining pool for Cachecoin:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400389.0
(quite interesting coin with logarithmic diff adjustment, stake and Reward per block inversely proportional to the difficulty)

The difficulty is already too high for solo mining (target block time is 15 minutes) and nobody set up a pool.

Offering a bounty of 200 cachecoins (current block reward is 16.95 per block) for someone to set up a pool (Scrypt-Jane PoW, the coin has also PoS)

Edit: One pool is set up, but the reward is still valid - 200 cachecoins for creating a second pool.

Note: as second pool will be handy, the bounty is still valid - anybody who sets up a second pool for CACHeCoin is still eligible for the 200 CacheCoin bounty.

I'm throwing in another 100 CACH for the 2nd pool bounty :-)

P2pool seems to be working, so I'll pay the bounty. But it seems Sy was first to come with the second pool (and he published the source), so I guess he may be eligible for the reward. But he mentions donschoes instance of the pool right in the announcement post, so I am not sure which one was first. I'll PM both donschoe and Sy to sort this out :)

All credits go to Sykh :)

Introduced early payouts to http://cach.catcoin.cz - the pool pays for unconfirmed block before they mature, therefore giving you your coins several days earlier!

Following picture shows how it works and you can see the benefit of the new payout system.

Mine at http://cach.catcoin.cz and get your (fully confirmed) coins earlier - this new payout system can be useful for example if you intend to buy stuff for CACHe, of if you need coins for trading.

Because 4 days can often make quite a difference .... :)
