Title: Dogecoin Digging? (Mining?) Post by: nightblaze on January 06, 2014, 06:44:39 AM I understand that dogecoin is different from bitcoin at a very basic level, and I've read up a little on dogecoin mining, but is there mining hardware for dogecoin? I expect that the hardware for bitcoin would be different because it's based off of something else, but I have not found and hardware for Dogecoin mining. Tips, anyone?

Because dogecoin is a Scrypt based coin it can be mined effectively using GPU's like ati 280x. You can use this same hardware for any other scrypt based coin mining.
