To me, bitcoin is still the best coin for 2018. Everyone is confident in investing in this coin. According to bitcoin experts, they believe that by 2020 the bitcoin will reach 91,000 times more than 10 times the current level.

Yes, Komodo is a really good potential coin for investment along with NEO and Syscoin. I think we'll see at least 3x for KMD by the end of this year.

As far as I concern, KMD is a passive income coin. Technically, whenever it surpasses its ATH, it can reach its double peak. However, to date, it's one of the worse coins because of its deep reduction (80% from peak) in comparison with the market's average loss. Just keep my eyes on it from now on.

Ten times is easier when the time comes the market stabilize and see it rocket. I have always consider this coin in my portfolio, I just want some market movement before I make my move because what I see is a profit from dip.

The best coin for 2018 is Hydro.  Just did X32 in 2months it has the potential to do X500 this year

For Me Ethereum is the Best Coin in 2018 if the $15,000 dollars price speculation is realized this will be the living testimony that Ethereum is the Second Coin reach the highest priced value after the King Bitcoin has reach $20,000+ dollars price value last Dec. 2017.

komodo is a promising platform I can agreed so this will raise soon. But your expectation is too much I think December it will reach 10 to 12 USD is possible because all the coins are little down in the market so slowly recovering in soon but Komodo is still positive in the market that is improper in Crypto market may be will going to dump also possible in future so I am stay away in this coin.

Syscoin's hype is over, people prefer newer coin now like EOS or Zil. Syscoin released a lot of update and their masternode but the price doesn't move much like other project.

Ncash can go easy 500% in starting 2019, some say around 1000%

My guess for 10x 2018 coin :
1. Omix from project shivom can easily going 10x when the genome data is up and running on their platform. Especially if the country the work to collected data now is finish. Alot of researcher will buy that genome data from the platform.
2. Essentia : digital id is urgently needed and it will make easy access to another dapp like aragon, forkdelta..etc... the developer also develop the aoftware good and have nice UI

For a wildcard pick I would say DigiPulse.  June/July specifically with the platform launch slated for July.  Just recently burned over 50% of total supply and has a very low circulating supply 2.2m trading currently at 1.51 USD which I believe is extremely cheap and could see a nice pump as the platform gets closer to being launched. Price could also increase throughout 2018 as its one of a few who are going after the digital asset inheritance space.

If you do some basic due diligence you will see other competitors have limitations or involve third parties (lawyers) which blockchain should be cutting out the middle man and not including them.

Check out ELA as well. They have some massive companies invested and it has basically never pumped. I think it easily deserves to be a top 20 coin.

Komodo - really promising coin. The coin is constantly evolving and expanding its sphere of influence. Experts also appreciate this project very well. I think that a coin can grow in x2 - x4 but certainly not in x10, it is already too much.

I think 2018 best ICOs are eligma and buzzshow because nowadays we don't analyse the best project but some managers are choose the best projects only so I trusted in Yahoo projects and some other promising ICOs also available in the market but 10x hype is unpredictable.

I love DGPT and think it is light years ahead of the competition both from a technical / security perspective and a development perspective. First to market projects have a much higher likelihood of success in capturing majority market share, especially in the short to mid-term. I see this project exploding during the next bull run which hopefully will coincide with the launch this summer. The beta launch was successful, the team is strong and the utility it high. Pair that with low supply and high demand and you will see strong performance.

For me a good coin to invest is still ethereum and for the new coin I invest in Docademic and that's profitable

This project is receiving huge support from the investment community cryptocurrency as it was invested by Vitalik from the early days of the project. I am also involved in this project, I think it is very potential to hold in the long run.

Docademic (MTC) is so much highly growing coin in this month i have seen ever.Just it pumped 15x within a couple of days.This medical based platform i think it's bright future.Dev are working well to growing price.

I'm holding Credits (cs) it's good project with its own block chain. I think it's a good idea to hold this coin half a year.

Your research and specualtions might be right and these coins can reach your expected price and i don't know much about them but for me the best coin for all time is Bitcoin.In these coming years the prices will reach moon and stood at all time high breaking all the records.The price can reach approx. 20-30x from current and reach almost $100k in coming three to five years.So wait and hodl.

I think that VIT is the most promising penny in the market, let's find out if our project involves a problem that anyone would like to see, I think the demand for this coin in the future will be good. When they finish the project, the price will rise to the moon.

Many people have their own opinion as they all have their investment in that and they have studied about these coins. so this thread is beneficial to know about different high potential coins. In my view the ROC coin will have a high profit because they have started their project which is running better and people are accumulating to there and now their next step is to start exchange listing so with this step the coin will rise more higher in this year.

Like you said, it is a good project which means you know that it is not the best one for sure. Personally, if am not fond of this crypto currency but still wish you luck. Now coming towards the best among altcoins, it is bitcoin cash for me but people admire ethereum more. However, bitcoin is   the best of best. Only this asset made millionaire from mediocre. Nothing like this has been invested since the beginning of times certainly.

NEO, TRX and BNB, these three projects from china are always promising. they probably will not be the best in their field, but they will become a favorite of many people and become more popular and bigger than now.

TRON(TRX) and EOS i think will go moon as these two has setup there own blockchain platform and now migrating and TRX has launch its beta version. so these two coins will go in parallel with ethereum.

ONT, VEN, ICX, ARK, NEO, WAN, and RPX

If I have extra cash, I might add ZIL, ELF, or ACT in my list.

I'm not sure that any of the top 100 coins are capable of such an increase this year, and of little-known, one of the coins may appear for a while, but it will quickly be blown to its current level.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
I was asking myself what to do when cryptocurrency goes down and found out that the most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.
