I wired 7000USD on the 11th Dec and Im still waiting on my funds to show. All this time with the prices rising :(
I originally purchased coins locally and then moved them to mtGox. If you want to trade serious, you will need btc-e.com All others are smaller exchanges mainly to trade alt coins. No problems with them until now. Fast send/withdrawal fiat unlike MTgox.
