Title: where to find tokens entering exchanges
Post by: the_observer on May 20, 2018, 11:18:28 AM
Hi all,

I would like to ask if you know of a way to get informed of the ico tokens which are entering exchanges?

One way of course is to follow the ico website, telegram e.t.c. but i am lokking for a more centralized way which include them all e.g. a website or similar.

Because it is not so easy to watch every ico out there indepedently everyday.

Thank you for your time reading this.

Regards.

If you want the ico coin entering the exchange should you be, you should follow the telegram or you can see on their ico websites, and I think that's a great way to follow.

I use the https://coinmarketcap.com website to track the tokens. For me it is the most convenient.

Well it will depends on where you will be getting your coins f course. If you will trust a token from a particular project then probably you will follow and observe it until market caps are achieved and you will get profits from it. Tokens created by projects are announced by the project holder themselves but as an advice, never invest if you haven't observed and researched about the particular project and token itself because you might end up scammed.
There are different tips to know that a project is legit you can find it here in the forum through the search button or google.

On this site, not all tokens/coins are displayed. If the trading volume is small you will not see them. I usually read a tweeter or a telegram channel.

Theres still no such service that do exist today where you can see a compile list of those new coins to hit up on exchangers on where you dont have any chouce but to stick into your traditional ways on checking out the latest update of the project throughtout their social media platforms or even on their site since these are the common places where project owners do announcetheir latest update or development of the coin. For now you cant do anything about it sine you dont have any choice.

The easiest way to know where a coin is listed or if a coin is listed is to have your own portfolio.. .. it will directly say if its on an exchange small or big... so far thats what I observe when I created my own protfolio...

If someone will create a software that will track those tokens coming to an exchange then it will be exposed to the community.

But the way to find tokens entering exchanges is by checking them individually or by reading ANN of them. As others said, you can check different mediums, twitter, telegram, their website and CMC as well.

I think you need to diversify which exchanges to be entered, if small exchange then you should find the information through each of their communication channel provided by the developer team such as twitter, facebook, telegram or others. But if you seek for big amount volume of ICO tokens, coinmarketcap can be a reference. Not all the ICO tokens straightly listed on coinmarketcap, there is limitation or requirement to be listed on coinmarketcap. One of the requirement is the daily trading volume shall reach certain amount, around USD 100,000 (CMIIW).

You can check them at the coinmarketcap site where it contains details if it was listed on exchange but the best way is to follow the announcement thread of that project where you will get the details about exchange and when it will get listed on exchanges or any other information you can ask at the thread.

Tokens created by projects are announced by the project holder themselves and you can get information about the token on their social media platform like telegram or twitter. You can also check the coinmarketcap site for details if it was listed on exchange but the best way is to follow the announcement thread of that project.

I guess best option is still watching them, following on social media, telegram etc. Or you can read their white paper and ANN for precise date.

Telegram is faster and the team must have a team to provide this information. but some ICOs very slowly register their tokens to exchange.

I have ICO Alarm on my phone, it has such alarms, i can't tell how fast it shows, but i have some alarms about coins every day. Also, if we are talking about new coins added to coinmarketcap you can follow @coin_notifier twitter and set alarms. But all this things worse then just follow telegram or social accounts of your coin.

CMC is the place where you can get details about the tokens and their listed exchange so you can keep updated with CMC to get the tokens exchange. But another easy way you can try that most of the tokens will be supported by MEW so you can send those tokens into MEW and then check your token balance at the etherscan if that token listed on exchange then it also shows value with your token balance.

so far I have not found a site that provides information services like you say. I personally prefer to monitor it on their social media and subscribe to their newsletter.

One of your basis when your token is listed on any exchange when you do see specially on erc20 where it do have value. CMC is the basic place to check out if a certain coin is listed on what markets but we do all know not all coins are listed directly on coinmarketcap because of such lacking requirements since it do have an specific thing needed before it would be listed where a coin should have atleast $100k volume.

I think you can check it directly to any online exchange because they will always give a notice whenever there is a new coin thats get listed on their platform. one example is myetherwallet , mew does always show a notification or a message beside your dashboard ( located on the upper right of the screen )

yes thats right. These two were also another good option to track any changes made by their site.

And lastly , bitcointalk.org has also a good source for latest news and updates regarding on cryptocurrency talk.

usually, they tell the token will enter the stock through social media, twitter, facebook, and other supporting media,
can also be viewed from the company's Road Map.
