Who knows if this endeavor will ever get off the ground, but they just issued an email saying they now accept Bitcoin donations. I think they have a chance to make this work, albeit, 5-10 years later than their estimated timeline. But regardless, great to hear about accepting Bitcoins! Whole project looks like a flop to me. I don't think so. It will be a great achievement.
