Ethereum is flying form last few days. I really can not trace the reason of the bullish trend.
However, what is your thought about the closing price of ETH in 2018?

At the beginning of the year, I said Ethereum is closing at $2000 this year, but despite the recent market behavior, I still think the price is likely going to touch that price range this year, because the ATH was $1500 in February all we need is just a change in market sentiment

If eth succeeds in breaking previous all time high in next couple of months then i am positive that eth can easy reach $2k to $2.5k till the end of 2018, this is a conservative analysis, some analysts are suggesting much bigger price till end of this year.

Look, price of anything can go anywhere and anytime.  So it is not possible to predict the price of ETH in 2018. But in my opinion, the current market situation indicates that its price will be $1500-$2000. Though I am not fully sure.

I see ethereum closing nothing below $2000 before the end of the year. Tho ethereum hasn't been able to break the $800 resistance for the past few months now but i am really optimistic it will in the next few weeks.

It is very difficult to guess the price of Ethereum at the end of the year, but if I can guess, I think at least Ethereum will reach $ 1300 by the end of 2018, I think the value of Ethereum continues to increase in the coming years.

If we are discussing $ then I believe ETH will end the year nearest $2500. But if we are discussing sats then I am not certain it will make a new ATH this year and 14 million sats is the most I expect it to reach in that regard.

Well, I think Ethereum has a great potential. By the end of 201i, it would reach near 2.5k. Let's see what happens!

Ethereum already reach ath this january 2018. I dont know if ETH can make it again, but I highly believe in it. This is already its price correction so it will sit to 600-700$ then/hoping to moon again on January and reach a new ATH.

I think at the end of the year 2018 is ETH will indeed be soaring price. My estimate will reach thousands of dollars. But it seems to have not been able to touch the numbers tens of thousands of dollars. Surely it took longer to be able to touch the numbers of such magnitude. There is still great potential for ETH.
So I think even though it's still a very low price, no one knows if it will be To the moon this year.

For me it is too early to speculate,which is we should be waiting for the last quarter to come,we are still at the second quarter of the year so just relax!

It is difficult to predict the price by the end of the year. If in 2018 the popularity of ICO projects increases and they are successful, it will play a big role in the formation of the price for ETH. I think that the more logical price will be 2,500 - 3,000 $.

Vitalik's statement regarding the scale up issue being resolved for the ETH network might be the reason for this but I hardly think that people care about it. However big projects might be influenced with this and use of the ETH might get excel to all new level. Vitalik is always smart and he knows when to do what things. As he know ETH stands at a good price and market position today then this is the right opportunity to release the new scale up model and attract even more investors into it. As soon as that will happen ETH price may double or triple and hence I believe that ETH is getting more attention than previous one.

With little glitches of ups and downs it will surely come down and then go up with heavy upsurge surely. So stay tune with ETH. Its the next big thing.

We are still in the second quarter of the year why would anyone know how much ethereum can reach? just wait for few months so that you can be sure and you wont be speculating too much.

friend , i think your prediction is too conservative . ether was once close to 1400 dollars in January this year . i think it will reach 5000 dollars this year in December . the recent bear market may affect our judgment

We cannot know for sure, because we all thought that ethereum will rise from now on, and it happen that it is falling now, hehhe. Who knows

I don't see Ethereum above 2000 this year. It will fluctuating in 500-1000 diapason. As for closing range of Ethereum, I predict it in price range like 1000-1500, but it won't beat ATH. Probably in 2019 year ETH will be like 2000-3000 $ with total market growth

It seems to me that the price peak that will reach Ethereum at the end of 2018 will be approximately equal to 2500 dollars and most likely this year Ethereum will grow in a percentage more than Bitcoin.

why don't people these days know the meaning of the words they are using?!! bullish now? it is not just about ethereum and other altcoins the bitcoin speculation is also filled with these people. price rises 1% then they call it "bullish" and then start celebrating just to get dumped on and lose -10%....

If we do hit another bull run this year then there is every possibility that ethereum will hit the $2000 market. Although the past couple of weeks, it did seem like someone was messing with it and manipulating the price of ethereum and there was some funny business with the hashrate dropping drastically in a couple of hours and then going back up again which was weird. The price of ethereum will do well this year regardless

The range of ETH until the end year of 2018 is likely we are closing with 999 dollars, or if it pumps more than we expect then we can say it will reach until $1200.
Since it has big potential so we can expect a better price this year end.

my prediction in 2018 Ethereum price will touch the figure of $ 1000 and in July the Ethereum movement will be more significant.

Everyone is waiting for the transition to the technology of proof-of-stake. The code for the first version has already been published. After the upgrade there will be good growth, I think it will be at the end of 2018.

ETH is doing very good this days. I think ETH closing range of 2018 will be  ::) ???. I am not sure about it I am just predicting.

for me, the price target for closing my Ethereum is just $3,5k/ETH but i think this is to hard for any altcoin growing up the price on this years

The future price of crypto currency is very hard to assume. It keeps on fluctuating. So, if the price goes high now, it can go down below anytime. So, the closing range is very hard to predict. But, as the price is rising, you can invest on it now to gain a good amount of money. Ethereum has a long way to go. ??? ???

The ethereum strengthens in the market and forms a bullish trend with minimal corrections so it is worth investing, I think by the end of the year we will see 2,000  ::)

I haven't seen any bullish form from this trend on ETH so how did you distinguish that there's a bullish trend that you have to figure out?

The same price will be ending up for ETH this year so last year it was around $1,400 so that will be the price of ETH for this year too.

I believe that the most realistic forecast of the price of Ethereum in 2018 is 1000-1100 dollars.

I think that the closing price of ETH in 2018 will be 0.2-0.3 BTC! So it's not too late to transfer part of the BTC to the ETH!)

Ethereum is doing well in recent times, they are the 2nd position after bitcoin. That's why i think they will reach $1.8k to $2.5k at the end of the year.

Many people here seem to post the top price for ETH in 2018, but since you asked for closing price, I think ETH will close around $700-600 at the end of december. The top price would be something around $2k though.

I believe Ethereum has the potentioal to reach $2k to $2.5k . if people keep supporting enough then Ethereum can go more high then this man. you never know.      

I believe that in 2018 ETH will reach over $ 2,000, which is a beautiful landmark for community support for ETH. ETH is getting better and better by a very professional management team, with a long-term development plan I believe investing in ETH is the best thing in this market.

Well, that is the market as anything can actually fly at any point in time, but with the way things have been with Ethereum though, it is very interesting to see how the market has really increased hugely recently and staying pretty strong.

There is bound to be a retrace soon though, so we get to see how far and low that goes but for the main time, and for the long term, I am still very bullish on Ethereum this year and who knows, it may even surprise us more than we can imagine anyway.

I do not see for Ethereum being closing this year. because what I know for the development of Ethereum itself has improved so much. so to make coins that close this year I'm not so sure as to see its growing development. so it will be very profitable for the future not for closure.

If Ethereum will cost $ 2,500, then bitcoin will cost about $ 30,000 (or maybe more). Now Ethereum follows bitcoin in price.

I guess it will be at 3k dollars as we all know ethereum is one of the strongest coin in crypto which is use by almost crypto people all over the world. There is clear future and strong potential with this coin. I do believe on that.

As much as I know that anything can happen to a coin at any particular time or day and with the current situation in market price of coin, I think the closing range of ethereum this year will be $1500-$2000 considering the rate at which it rises.

Even with all the bullish sentiments by some, obviously, everything isn't rainbows and butterflies as a lot determines the value of what any of the coins would be in the future and Ether is not an exemption.

Although Vitalik has been saying a lot recently about scaling, but action is all that would make it worthwhile and that makes me look forward to the SHARDING development though! However, it is cryptocurrency, and anything can still happen irrespective of news.

Graph wise, i don't really think it's anywhere near the $1000 dollar mark. It even reduced its value for about 3.75% in the past week, making its value at $597.47. But nonetheless, we're still on the second half of the year, things can get pretty rough on the second half we'll then see if the value of it would continue to decrease or would be in a bull run.

There was no bullish trend of Ethereum lately. The latest one happened in the early days of January. After that, Ethereum is already rising up a little and moving down with much larger steps. This is not a good market sentiment for Ethereum. But since the same is also true to almost all cryptocurrencies for the past several months, there is no reason why we should somehow doubt the future of Ethereum.

According to the charts, first ETH has to break its previous 2 resistant levels around the price level of  $800 and $1000. If it breaks those 2 levels then the next target is around $1200 level. So ETH has to break 3 resistant levels before it reaches its new high value. I think at the end of the year ETH will reach $2000 value.

In general, the market trend is not outstanding. However, to answer your question, I think the ETH price at the end of this year will be about $1500-$2000

Maybe this is a reasonable response from Altcoin like Ethereum, because when the situation improves, Ethereum will certainly get the first impact. And for the end of this year, it seems like returning Eth to its highest price will be a reasonable expectation as well.

I think it'll be in range from $1500 to $1800 per ETH. It's a reasonable price with ETH and current market. As you know Ethereum is one of the strongest coin in crypto market now. Most of new ICO projects are based on Ethereum blockchain network.

my opinion about the closure of ETH at the end of this year I do not think much about this because I know Ethereum will stay good and although it will be closing and I am sure at the end of 2018 it is not the end of Ethereum because this coin has good growth and can survive

I think Ethereum will return to $1400 this year and let us wait patiently.

It seems that in May Ether did not fly anywhere. But okay if we open the chart, in 60 days Ether has increased about 60%, which is big enough for global Altcoin. My estimate is that Ether will be around $ 1-1.5k by the end of this year.

in Q3, most likely Ethereum will rose back to $1500 and in Q4 it will surpass $2000 but still no one knows if this is still a good speculation for Ethereum since everyone loves Eth and knows how good the project is.

Though it probably will not make any other All Time High price this year, but it seems Ethereum will be able to get close.

Based on the movement of the price. Where the price of ETH is currently undergoing a up and down uncontrollably. I think the prediction will be riding high at the end of the year 2018 as it can happen or vice versa. If according to my view, prices will shoot up the but only ETH reached approximately $2500. there are many altcoins that can be invested and there are many good altcoins to invest in the long term because I know the current price of altcoin still decreases and there is no point will rise

I think Ethereum will rising from time to time, it is because of the flow of it's coin and the progress of innovation from the platform and also common use as a transferable coin also.

I do not see for Ethereum this is a coin that will close this year. because what I see for Ethereum is a coin that continues to show an increasing development. so it will be very profitable and able to turn Ethereum forward. so I'm not sure for Ethereum will die this year.

In my opinion, to guess the ETH price is very difficult, but if I can guess, ETH will be able to close $ 2000 this year.

Everyone expected something big to happen to Ethereum. This is by no means a bad thing, as more and more populations are optimistic, it will get closer to reality. And if we look at the current market capitalization of Ethereum, I think that reality is in the $ 1500 price range by the end of this year.

No one can believe anything bro as we are all just busy speculating with no basis or anything to back that up. Yeah, the possibility may be there but the fact remains that as long as the market is concerned, there is absolutely no way we can know the direct future price of a market. What is important is to know that Eth market itself is going to grow over time since it has a lot of potentials and bullish it is in the long term. This year still has a lot going for it, and so many market uncertainties which only time can tell where or how it ends up.

I think the end of the year will reach 2000 USD price levels. The first reason is that some of the ICO projects achieve success and Ethereum also increases the volume. The second reason is the bull season. During this period, we can always see new records or momentary serious rises as we are used to. For that reason, I think that as investors we need to evaluate these periods well.

$2000 before the end of the year is pretty realistic but you would not want to bank on it too much based on several other factors that may end up affecting the market in the long run. It is a good thing though to see the strength recently, based on the movement it had and from that anything is believable.

The market sentiment generally is bearish due to the way bitcoin is perceived at the moment and except it changes, nothing should be expected much yet.

It all depends on the price growth of bitcoin,if it reaches $20K then the ethereum might hit $2K or above but now anything looks unclear so we have to wait for the orice to rise in the upcoming weeks.

Ethereum is still slow in increase of it's price but it's impressive that it was able to reach $612 today like the bearish days it was around $300.

Lucky those people that waited for that bottom and bought during that time, they are free to sell or they can keep it until the end of the year. Many are saying that it's possible for it to get back to ATH and can surpass that past price.

Yeah, and that is just how market generally is and there is absolutely no way we can assume exactly what the future holds for any coin. Ethereum even though it showed some pretty huge bullish momentum recently does not mean that we cannot still get back to a downtrend. I have been bullish on Ethereum but I still follow trend most of the time as the market can be full of surprises and this year may be filled with one.

Not more than $900 i think, because it is not capable of crossing $800 at the moment, and there are only six months left

The ethereum coin is dependent upon the price value, consideration bitcoin which is synonymous to cryptocurrency is slowing being accepted across Europe the ethereum price will increase over time so it's possible that it will be worth 1000 USD by the end of the year

If this continues, the ethereum will be fall to $ 200 by the end of the year. Yes you are reading right ETF is accepted or denied but ethereum will continue to fall.

Indeed this ethereum price continues to fall. But I am sure that until the end of the year later ethereum will still remain ranked second in market. Even so one day will move to the first rank of replacing bitcoin.

i think it will touch 1000-1500$ in this year, if some good news on eth and if eth break the resistance at 800$, maybe it will reach in sep,oct,or nov.
