Title: When to buy? Post by: BitcoinSteve on January 08, 2014, 12:15:23 AM I obtained just over 1 btc last month, probably spent about $650 so far made a little $... Anyways BTC was about $1040 last night and is around $890 now. I want to purchase .1 more to add (trying to get slowly to 2 btc) anyways should I buy now or wait to see if it keeps lowering?

Post by: hyphymikey on January 08, 2014, 12:35:52 AM If you are looking to hodl long term, .1 btc isn't worth the risk of buying cheap. Missing the train altogether might hurt you more.
BUT, chances are we will test 750 on Gox soon, and probably lower before we head back to ATH. You can always wait until a dip if you are long term. Also, depending on which exchange you use, put a stop loss buy, meaning if you set that order at $40, it will buy after we raise $40 from the bottom, unless we go on to lower bottoms after the $40 raise. You just have to set the distance in which you want to buy from the bottom correctly which is pretty hard. We could go from 870 to 820, back to 860 (where the buy would go through) and then fall again to <800. Either way Good Luck! Title: Re: When to buy?
