Title: So I'm currently trying to mine my cpu on my laptop. Post by: SoulPatent on January 08, 2014, 01:24:44 AM I'm only getting around 1500 kHASH/s the only reason I'm doing this is to familiarize myself with how mining pools work. Do you think this is enough to make .00001 BTC if I mine for a whole day?

If you want to use your computer hardware try mining scrypt based coins. There are a lot of possibilities. Also, use coinwarz.com as a starting foothold.
