Title: Question? (Bitcoin Chart - MACD) Post by: BitEnthusiast on January 08, 2014, 02:59:04 AM What does it mean when divergence moves up and moves down? I'm new to trading and reading charts, hope my question is explained well enough to get the answers I need. Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong. 😊

(Bitcoin Chart - MACD) Post by: MarCoin on January 09, 2014, 09:07:29 AM When the MACD gets far from zero it means that the two means you choosen as parameters are diverging. Practically, the vertical space between them (taken from the same X value, where X is a bar on the chart) is different from zero. Negative or Positive MACD value means that one or another mean has greater value then the other one :)
