Title: Funneled into this whoreshit :)
Post by: Melkiah on January 08, 2014, 12:40:45 PM

All I Wanted to do was post some prtscrn dumps on a premining going on in the background for the coinye west thread, but hey... Let's shove our newly registered folks in this little area and expect them to carry a decent conversation.

Name's Melkiah. What's up.

I love the draconian restrictions implemented by this simplemachines forum. Even though I haven't posted within 360 seconds (This being my first post) I am still restricted from any further activity until this time has passed. I'm assuming that logging in is part of this.

I suppose there are a few good things about this silly institutionalized system. Keeps the trolls off the board (Seriously though, what troll is going to bother hitting this place). In any case, I find being shoved into some "newbie" section an utter slap to the face. Most of us didn't just pop here to say hello. Most of us have experience on message boards and are familiar with the formalities expected in this place.

With the growing number of users online each day, I can't expect everyone to abide by old netiquette, and for those old folks still clinging desperately, get off it..

So you understand why these restrictions are there, yet you still think they're silly?  And there are trolls, bots, and  spammers/scammers hitting this board daily. You only have to wait 4 hours, so be patient.

Yes, I understand them. That's why you have moderators. You don't lock down an entire board for fear of one-two trolls. Really? Let's inconvenience many to stop few with lazy tactics. Not to mention I registered this account at 7PM CST last night. (Which by the way, just in case you can't count, was 12 hours ago.)

Don't mind me, just my 360 secondly shit-post to authorize my access to the rest of the forums.  8)

Don't you think mods have better things to do than look for spambots all day? They already take care of them when they find them. I'd suggest you just learn to live with the small inconvenience of the restrictions like everybody else does. Yes, they're annoying at first, but you'll soon get over them.

And you need to be actively browsing or posting for the time to count.

Thanks for that wonderful response. I'm very grateful to have fulfilled a decent, multi-sentenced conversation with you in this thread that I've created. It sends shivers down my spine knowing that my posts are full, robust and to the point. The rules made it clear that I must produce decent full length sentences, so I shall now provide that for you.

The Brief History of Dogecoin

-dogecoin is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, favored by Shiba Inus worldwide.

-Dogecoin functions using public-key cryptography, in which a user generates a pair of cryptographic keys: one public and one private. Only the private key can decode information encrypted with the public key; therefore the keys' owner can distribute the public key openly without fear that anyone will be able to use it to gain access to the encrypted information. All Dogecoin addresses are public keys; they are a string of 34 numbers and letters starting with the letter D. An example address (public key) is the address DBxbb3wXMMc6y2vvZufHGjmB17dM2Lpab6, which belongs to Dogecoin.org. (The private key, however, must be kept secret and secure). The public key is the Dogecoin address to which other users can send dogecoins.

How about a little information about SHA-256

-SHA-256 and SHA-512 are novel hash functions computed with 32 and 64-bit words, respectively. They use different shift amounts and additive constants, but their structures are otherwise virtually identical, differing only in the number of rounds. SHA-224 and SHA-384 are simply truncated versions of the first two, computed with different initial values. SHA-512/224 and SHA-512/256 are also truncated versions of SHA-512, but the initial values are generated using the method described in FIPS PUB 180-4. The SHA-2 family of algorithms are patented in US 6829355. The United States has released the patent under a royalty-free license.[

Your posts are full of sarcastic horseshit. And I'd be careful about posting off-topic crap and in the wrong forums, because depending on which mod sees it you'll either have your posts moved, removed or maybe even banned for spamming. So carry on and we'll find out soon enough.

Boy, I wish I could post on-topic replies, but I can't go into threads that contain the topics I'm interested in. So I guess I'll continue to post doge/coye trade requests in /newbie :?

OH WELL

After four hours of active browsing you will, so I'd just wait it out, but like I said, continuing to post crap will very likely be pushing your luck. Up to you what you do.

Yes, and the according to this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400053.msg4345557#msg4345557), the mods seem to agree that my posts are OK. You're free to go through them all if you wish though.

Waiting to get white-listed reminds me of doing faucet captchas all day to make 4 cents.

I hope this forum provides more than 5500 satoshi's worth of info for 4 hours browsing and 5 posts (meaningful or not)?

Or should I keep visiting Bitvisitor?  At least you can walk away from your computer...

Hmmmmm, guess I have no choice, huh?

I thought Bitcoin represented a move away from centralized authority and more towards DAC's (digital autonomous corporation, benevolent algorithms, etc.)?

In short, usually when some authority says they want to protect you, it means you pay with less freedom.

Just ranting while I too wait...

I just made 20 cents worth in a few minutes gambling on the PrimeDice faucet but then lost it all lol.
