If u have one stick then follow what i am telling you here.

1. First install http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

2. Plugin your USB ant miner in USB

3. Download http://zadig.akeo.ie/ and run it

4. Open Zadig and click “Options -> List All Devices”

5. Select the CP2102 USB to UART from dropdown and Install Driver

6. Again run Zadig and select CP2102 USB to UART from dropdown and Reinstall driver.

7. Now close everything Zadig too , and Pull out your USB Antminer Stick from USB.

8. Plugin your USB again.

9. Come to CGMINER which is designed for Antminer Usb Stick : https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/ download it

10. Take out the cgminer-run-windows-20131224.zip and unzip it

11. take notepad and write this command line in it
cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinex.pw:9027 -u worker.x -p x --bmsc-freq 0981

0981 will give around 2 Ghash u can set it to 0781 which is default gives u 1.6 Ghash

12. Save As notepad as somename.bat select Sav as type to " All files "

13. Run this .bat which u have made right now , i am sure it will run your Ant Miner smoothly

14. Sometimes it required a boot so u can check one boot

right click on cgminer.exe and click properties. copy and paste this with the proper pool and target path credentials in the target line cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o pool:port -u worker.name -p password --bmsc-freq 0781

it tried that as well i dont think its the target line because that is pretty much a copy paste job but cgminer is out right not seeing the antminer U1

That batch file the previous poster had you make should work. Are there lights on your miner? There should be a red light lit up on it. I know for a fact bfgminer works with it (google it). It's much easier to set up very self explanatory however it doesn't have the proper drivers so you won't be hashing at max speed. I got a bout 1GHash/s with it. Try that for now until you figure out your issue.

thats what i have been doing but it want to to atleast go at the default speed so i want this cgminer to work

Well if you've been using it in bfgminer then we can assume the miner is recognized so you must not be doing the command lines properly. Did you right click on cgminer and create a shortcut then add the stuff I told you with the proper info? Make sure bfgminer isn't running when you try to run cgminer.

I've got exactly the same problem. No detected on cgminer but only running at 1gh/s in bfgminer

its not going to be the command lines because the only thing im changing is the pool/worker name/password its not about the command line its about something else

do i need the cgminer from this website because this is what i have in cgminer folder

i found this website which has a cgminer called cgminer master from https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer do i need this?

It was my laptop causing the problem or the windows install, just switched to another one and it works now.

It's a Sony Vaio and also couldn't get it working on a Dell Optiplex

Have you tried unplugging the device and plugging it back in (to the same USB port) after you've installed the driver via Zadig? Start cgminer and it should work fine...

yep tried that, still won't work "no devices detected"

try this :

- plug only 1 antminer

- check device manager, you must have : "CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller" in Universal serial bus device IF NOT >>ZADIG reinstall driver

then start cgminer WITH ONLY ONE ANT

Cgminer was garbage for my antminers. I had 9 setup in a USB hub and I had to plug them in one at a time and install the zadig driver after plugging in each one. I also racked up plenty of hardware errors. Switched to bfgminer version 3.9.0 and all's good.

How do you have your batch file configured and did you download from the BFG 3.9 OP or did you download the .7z version?
I've got six of these things 1600 miles away with a frustrated wife trying to run the setup.

Hey sorry I didn't see this post. I'll link the BFG version I used: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/z29x4n6ng510joi/bfgminer-npw-antminer.7z?dl=1&token_hash=AAFg_-99ep2hvM-7aFkf1z3qE6Y3TwaMOaG4yfccb8ipYA

I'm using a bat file with this config (overclock to 2 GH/s): bfgminer --set-device antminer:clock=x0981 -o stratum+tcp://poolname -u username -p password -S antminer:all

Hope this helps! Make sure you have the VCP driver downloaded first before you plug in your Antminers (this link is for windows version: http://www.silabs.com/Support%20Documents/Software/CP210x_VCP_Windows.zip )

So 1. Download and install VCP driver
2. Plug in antminers
3. Download the BFG 3.9.0 that I linked
4. Run batch file with config
5. Success!
