Title: Dummy Plugs Not Needed? Post by: tagged on January 08, 2014, 09:08:50 PM I am running smos-linux and have two rigs without dummy plugs, hashing fine!
I am running 5x 280x Gigabyte cards in one rig, and 4x 280x Diamond in the other rig. It was an accident on 1 card, but it fired up and hashed away without a dummy plug in it. So i built the next rig without, all cards fired up! Is this a smos-linux (bamt) benefit? Normal for 280x cards? I am just damn lucky? Thanks all! Title: Re: Dummy Plugs Not Needed? Averaging around 560kh/s with each card. Have placed priority on keeping them cool rather than squeezing and extra 50kh/s out of each. Running them at around 73C.
