We shouldn't be happy to see Bitcoin associated with unicorns and other fantasy creatures.

When I explain Bitcoin to someone, I never call it mining. Never even did. The Term mining really is misleading, what the actual purpose of this action is. Notice how Businessweek didn't seem to mention the secondary utilities of the blockchain, and what that could mean for ssssso many other industries and government functions. Heads in the sand? Cannot comprehend the enormity? Or more FUD to enable a bit more lower priced buying? One thing you can say for sure, the more that time goes on, the less that any ignorance based explanations make any sense. These business-world people know an opportunity when they see it, even if the reasoning behind that opportunity takes a while to sink in. We're watching the realisation of one of the biggest shifts in socio-economic paradigms the world has seen in front of our eyes, manifested as the snapping into place in the heads of the influential people of the world. And we're watching from the most comfortable seats in the house (most of us, anyway!)
