Track your sales summary and trends Opencart is a powerful open-source shopping cart platform for online merchants. Many merchants in the bitcoin community use OpenCart, and many of them have been unable to process payments for several weeks now. By the way, we are in need of a skilled PHP/JavaScript developer with some knowledge of various shopping carts. I am looking for someone that might want to take on a few integration projects (i.e. creating plugins for other shopping cart software and helping merchants integrate their store fronts). It's something that someone could do in their spare time. I'm hoping to find an individual that is reliable and that I could confidently refer merchants to and that would become an expert in the bit-pay platform. Over time if the relationship works well and as we grow, this could lead to a formal role overseeing our professional services. Easy integration into shopping cards is what Bitcoin needs for wider adoption... Opencart seems to be a very easy-to-use interface for a non-programmer. So any brick-and-mortar retailer that is thinking about making a website, but doesn't have a clue how to make a shopping cart, let alone accept bitcoins, now there is a full solution! Examples are: - restaurants that want to let people order and pay online, then come pick it up - retail stores that want to build a website to sell outside their local area - anyone using the Yahoo small business shopping cart (Roger do you know any other Yahoo people that want to escape?) Right now Im giving opencart a whirl. That's the first time I've seen that one. There are hundreds of these shopping carts. Eventually we will have a plugin for all of them, especially if we can find a good PHP/Javascript programmer to help merchants with these types of integrations. I had to request to my webhost to open the port. Bit-pay tech support was very helpful during my install.
