Title: Markz from freesmsverifications.com is a scammer. Scammed me out of $1500
Post by: dheer on May 21, 2018, 08:01:41 AM
I would like to report Markz from freesmsverifications.com is a scammer. As you can see from my last topics I always tried to find vendors from entire world to help verify accounts we create. We are a big company in India and we have paid this guy lot of money earlier. We have boughts thousands of numbers from him.

He has two skype. One under VirtualSMS Numbers and another as Premium SMS Services name. Earlier he replied just fine and we (me and my manager usually sent funds) used to deal with him and we used to talk on VirtualSMS numbers skype but after few days he stopped responding and he advertised another skype which is Premium SMS services. One fine day we have paid for 5k and 10k MS office numbers. We have bought total of 15000 numbers worth about $1500. Those number were bullshit and were not of any use and he promised to replace but then again he stopped replying for months. I kept contacting him but one day he banned me from skype.

Skype conversation proof here.

After all this I have again paid him to see if they have automated system in place to buy numbers. I have bought one more pack and paid him like $5 but still he never responded and again banned me from another skype I used to contact him.

This is pure scam they are doing and I ask moderators to question this guy why he keep scamming innocent peoples. I have paid him lot of money but still he scam me then think what about what he has done to tiny vendors.

Can you provide more evidence in regards to connection between "Markz (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=864864)" and those Skype accounts?

We have bought total of 15000 numbers worth about $1500.

User Markz (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=864864) advertises freesmsverifications.com in their sig. So there is no question about the connection there.

As SFR10 states, I would also ask for some more clarification of the relationship between the skype user which contacted you, and Markz/owner of freesmsverifications. Because as far as I can tell, there isn't a skype listed on the site. If you don't provide proof of that connection, there is nothing we can do.

Apart from that, it's just a really classic scam. These kinds of "I'll offer you a service if you pay first", then refusing to refund or replace kind of stuff has been going on for ages on this forum and off this forum. That's why escrow is so important, for your own sake. Next time you make a deal of anything over $100, use escrow. Let alone sending $10k first to that guy, you're lucky that you even got some faulty numbers.

Please do some efforts if you really want to know. Signup on his shitty website and there is a support chat window aka skype group chat on right corner it will redirect you to the Premium number skype contact.

Initially, I missed the following lines (due to the way you formatted your post):

Markz is promoting same website and you can see they publish same Skype on their website. Please check and get back to me.
It checks out (apparently, you have to click the right side of the banner on the footer area [not clear on chrome, checked on Firefox and was able to spot it]).

Sure here is the bitcoin transaction link from my localbitcoin account I paid him on his website.

I did a test and the address you sent to, is the same as the one I got:

Your $5 Tx link: https://blockchain.info/tx/41414eb91e1e0c624a9d7ca6725bd50e0d562f8063d84ab692c0578605dd97a6
His/her address: 1xMqVx8uRyJ9c4K11Be69vxz9CGpWU88L
The address I got from him/her: https://archive.fo/UpdC7 (above the pop-up message)

On a side note: Can you include the following Tx link as well:
We have bought total of 15000 numbers worth about $1500.

Based on everything here, he/she shouldn't be trusted and should also receive a negative rating (IMO).
- I'll tag him (shortly) but since I'm just a DT3 member, no one sees it by default (DT1/2 members are needed for that).

What is the least biggest step we can up if I am scammed by a company of broker?

So now this guy communicated with me and unblocked me from Skype and gave me some fake numbers for test and the test were not successful. He has so much ego and pride.

This guy never sent me PM though.

He is now saying he don't want to deal with me as I have posted false on this forum which itself sounds funny.

Good luck man who will deal with scam artist like you?

@Markz, as an outsider with no ties to @dheer, you look guilty here, according to the screenshots. Yes, screenshots can be doctored/manipulated, but based on your feedback style here in this thread, it doesn't come as a surprise to me if your behavior in the skype conversations are actually as they are displayed by OP.

Regardless of whether you don't like what was posted about you and your service, you have an obligation to provide the products which were paid for, or provide a refund for the products/services you were not able to fulfill. Just going about ignoring the customer just makes you look like an asshole, regardless of the reason.

I, too, will leave an open negative feedback to @Markz with the hopes that this is resolved.  Good luck, OP

Edit: Could it also be that the seller has recently sold their account? Just a possibility, but heed the warning from their trust page:
