Title: Gridcoin / BOINC Post by: deerough on January 10, 2014, 12:26:17 AM So this is my Newb post.... was wondering what everyone thinks about this coin. I am new to mining and was looking for something that actually had some real world benefit. I like the idea that it forces you devote some cpu to crunching research jobs. I have actually been running BOINC on some servers and desktops for a while now, and am trying to decide whether to switch my desktop rig with a couple of 280x's over to GRC. Any thoughts?

It had a rough start since it's a work in progress but the bad bumps are pass and it's been progressing well lately with the features the dev's been working on for it :)
