Title: multipool... better not? Post by: erre on January 10, 2014, 02:25:20 PM While i'm waiting the harware for a bigger rig, i'm pointing my 420 kh/s to different multipools, ti see the results and decide the most profictable. Here my results:
-Middlecoin: High rejects numbers, but acceptable-good overall profit. when i reached 0.001 it didn't payd, nor the day after @ 0.0015. Address triple-checked and posted in the thread here on the forum, but no responses. Dropped. -Hashcow: cannot register -Tompool: currently trying, payd only 0.001 after 15hrs of mining (expected at least double) Are multipools not convenient at all? Why? Better to mine a single coin switching after maybe a day or two? Title: Re: multipool... better not? I reached 0.1 in 2 days--->didn't pay, 0.015 the third day---->didn't pay Title: Re: multipool... better not? Post by: maardein on January 11, 2014, 12:11:34 AM I haven't had any problems with payouts from middlecoin. And if you mine for profit, I think it is the best working pool. Not so if you want to support a specific coin.

I have 420 khash/s as well and have been averaging around 0.003 BTC/day. really? that doesn't sound so good. You make 2.40 to 2.60 usd a day then. You can mine almost any coin and get much better than that. 426 k/h on doge would be 4.00-4.50 usd a day before power costs, check here with your hashrate because 90% of the coins will make you more than you are currently getting. Might as well make as much as you can. http://www.coinwarz.com/miningprofitability/litecoin/?hr=426&p=300&pc=0.0950 Title: Re: multipool... better not? I tried multipools and ended up with a lot less than if I just stuck with a profitable coin, such as Doge, World, Netcoin etc. I have 940 kh/s and get roughly 0.01 bitcoin worth a day. I know because i do. if you don't want to then that is fine. Title: Re: multipool... better not? Post by: sharted on January 11, 2014, 05:28:16 PM Try multipool.us . That's why you go with coins that have a high difficulty because any slight fluctuation in difficulty won't have a big affect on the value. If you see a coin on Coinwarz with 0.4 difficulty it's fair to assume it should be avoided because when 50 miners hit it the value will drop a lot. |
