Title: Coins-E issues - dogecoins stolen?
Post by: flinx on January 10, 2014, 04:13:15 PM
A couple of days ago I noticed the rate for dogecoin was better on Coins-E, so made an account and sent a deposit of 300k dogecoin from BTER, where I'd been trading. The money didn't show up at first, and then I heard about Coin-E being on the wrong fork. I made a freshdesk ticket asking them to fix the deposit, listing the dogechain address.

Now that they finally claim to be on the right fork, I still don't have the money. Also checking the transfer:

Leads to http://dogechain.info/address/D9gVNUd1a86CsTCU9YP2rK3KQpMuWeiULi , where it looks like someone emptied out my account.

So the question is, is my money gone? Has anyone else heard of Coins-E doing this? What, if anything, should I have done differently? (I use a separate user/pass for everything and am clean of trojans/keyloggers, so it had to be an inside job)

I had the same issue - deposited doges, which are still showing as unconfirmed after 5 days now. The doges have been moved to another wallet with a huge balance.
