Title: Almost human Season1 Episode7 1 bitcoin = 427,000 dollars Post by: johnyj on January 10, 2014, 10:55:07 PM - Got a bitcoin, any money on it?
- 427,000 dollars It seems the word bitcoin here means a flash drive, or it is indeed one bitcoin per drive :D http://photo.mystisland.org/bitcoin.png Title: Re: Almost human Season1 Episode7 1 bitcoin = 427,000 dollars Post by: Tomatocage on January 10, 2014, 11:11:47 PM I could live with that.

One of the better SciFi shows running currently, actually. The ratings (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2654580/?ref_=nv_sr_1) (8.4) also confirm that. However it is too close to reality for me, so i watch it lazily. But that's just me - I like SciFi Series which do not resemble current reality. Really an amusing nod to Bitcoin technology itself, but really I think it was just a nod and not any sort of insertion of BTC into the show.

The first was episode 5 where a woman being extorted to keep her artificial heart running had a BTC wallet with 4999 on it.

They seem to think a "Bitcoin" is a credit card, or card linked to an account, or just an account itself... accessible via thumb drive apparently.
