Title: Remembering Aaron Swartz
Post by: jballs on January 11, 2014, 06:54:22 AM
One year ago Aaron Swartz left the world.

A pretty good piece on Aaron and his dad, and his demise at the hands of a legal system gone bad-

Rest in peace, brother.

If he would have been a bit smarter, he have acted the same as Edward Snowden.

I don't think he would have been granted asylum for his jstor docs.

But maybe. I don't know it's just a sad case of bureaucrats killing creative idealists. Nothing worse in my opinion. Scourge of and eventual downfall of society.

I almost sure Ecuador and Venezuela would grant the asylum for him.

Aaron gave us an early wake up call.

It's up to us to keep focused and carry on with his vision.
