Title: Are my BTC lost?
Post by: pastet89 on January 11, 2014, 01:28:45 PM
Hi, I sent 2 transactions using multibit and they got stuch and seen just by one peer.
Transactions did not appear on blockchain as well.

I read this: https://multibit.org/en/help/v0.5/help_resetBlockchain.html
and read it wrongly, that if they do not appear on blockchain, I must reset the blockchain.
I reseted the blockchain so.

Now, the stuch transactions were deleted from history, but my balance stands at 0.
But on blockchain it shows 0.74080587 BTC.

So where are finally my money?

Thanks.

Edit: I solved it for the cost of 0.01.
I will let you guys know what to do in this case:

1. Export your private key.
2. Create a new wallet.
3. Import private key.
4. Now you see your money.
5. I made the error to send 0.01 from the new wallet to the new one and this 0.01 get lost (I am so glad I tried with 0.01, not the whole amount!!)
6. I closed the new wallet and forgot about it.
7. My old wallet is OK now, with the bitcoins there, able to send and receive :)

Did you pay a T.X. fee?
