Title: A n00b introduces himself and asks some questions about mining Post by: OrnisTech on January 11, 2014, 07:04:50 PM I will start mining some coins with a friend in the next few weeks, and I don't know which one is the best setup for my miner:
16 Block Erupters bought at about 10 € a piece or 4 AntMiners bought at about 65 € a piece keep in mind that I will be using Linux and I would like to make a reasonable amount of coins in 3 months, even if this means mining some altcoins and not Bitcoin itself, and that if I choose to use the Erupters I should buy two PCI Express USB expansion cards which are about 25 €.
