a normal pcie slot costs 25 dollars board 60 (4 slots) cpu 30 ram 10 Title: Re: anyone actually tried PCI to PCI-e converter and works? Post by: trippp on September 05, 2011, 09:38:20 AM They can be had for $25. They are useful for adding an extra slot or two to an already existing rig/computer. If you build a rig from scratch, just buy a motherboard with as many slots as you need, that is cheaper.
