Anyone have good experience with this motherboard Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5.Im planning to hook up 3 R9 280x GPUs and crossfired them,but i dont know what kind of powered risers do i need buy couse i was thinking buy 3 16x-16x ,but some peoples said that i can use 1x-16x,so im confused,help me to sort it out

x1->x16 or x16->x16 work, just make sure you get powered risers as they are only marginally more expensive that the non-powered versions.  Mining is not pcie bandwidth limited, so even x1->x16 works fine.

I noticed all slots arent same so can i seat x1->x16 risers in any slot?

Yes, you can still use a x1-x16 riser in a x16 slot. It will (obviously) only run at x1 speeds, but that's not an issue.
