He actually said :'' There is a certain finite amount of bitcoin that can ever exist,Gold gets mined and mined and mined. Maybe there’s a finite amount of gold in the world, but cryptocurrency is even more mathematical and regulated and nobody can change mathematics.”

Flattered. He said something similar about the ETHER also calling it as Apple of Crypto currency. May be he is secret investor of the crypto currency as well and who knows one of the biggest whale in the market. Lolz.

Anyways, if words are coming out the popular figure and if thats positive one then its actually good thing about the crypto currency. However they shovel be more dominating one as to affect the market directly. After the article was published on the same, crypto currencies did not move at all may be they did not synched with us properly or at the right time.

But lets take it as good news and hail the cyrpot's.

I think it's great when we have prominent people speaking up in support of Bitcoin and other crypto's.

With all the FUD coming from the banking/financial industry it's great to have people like this creating anti-FUD.

We got a back up from a well known person in the world of technology so this makes sense that our support to crypto isn't in vain.
It's not a secret anymore, he just exposed on what are the coins he's holding.

I think quotes from Steve Wozniak are the most misinterpreted quotes of all times. and they are all over the place. he mentions something about bitcoin and then the media goes crazy over it. at first it was all big and happy then as price reached ATH and started coming down they started talking about how he has sold all his bitcoin and has lost faith in bitcoin :D
then there was this quote recently where he says something about smart contracts and mentions ETH and  the media went nuts saying he is loving ethereum and blah blah about it.... :D
now they seem to be back on the happy train about how he loves bitcoin again. I wonder how long that will last?!

this is the way big manufacturers like the APPLE example that praises bitcoin to be able to continue to enter the market, by holding cryptocurency then the APPLE has actually developed a promotional effort in the market

Indeed it is very true once that cryptocurrency is unlimited and I think it will really be the future, and it will continue to grow.

I strongly agree with him. The capabilities of bitcoin is limitless and it cannot be compared to gold. Whenever I see man investing in bitcoins, I see a man of success because I know that he knows what amount of profit he will gain. To that end, let us keep spreading positive vibes about bitcoin and the founder of APPLE sure did it well.  ::)

I think that bitcoin deserves to be praised, because I'm sure that bitcoin or cryptocurrency is better than the existing gold, and with this founder statement Apple will definitely make a good impact.

So I doubt know why the sudden U-turn hehehehe. Or perhaps the reason why he is scammed before is that he doesn't understand how it works, and now he is praising it because he study it in-depth and understand how it actually works. At least we have some positive feedback from a guy understands number. lol.

I remembered when he said that he sold all of his Bitcoin because he don't want to become one of those people that watches it and cares about the numbers and he wants to get rid of it. Now he is back and made a new announcement, this time he is talking about the future of Bitcoin and blockchain and how will this technology change the world lol. I was thinking that maybe he reinvested in Bitcoin as well as Ethereum because he also said recently that Ethereum could be the next Apple, that's why he saying those things again. I wonder what will he say if the price of this two cryptocurrency drastically went up.  ;D

It's not correct to say that Apple is the one hailing bitcoin, as it's apple founder who I don't believe it actively involved in company anymore. But it's definitely nice to hear person like this speaking highly about btc

He is absolutely right, and STEVE WOZNIAK is not a random person, but he is the major founder behind APPLE. Steeve Jobs was the marketing head, but Steve Wozniak was the main development head behind apple. He knows what he says ;)

That's it this man maybe on e of the Big whales of the Crypto currencies investor praising one of them after another that's only prove that he is gaining something on what he's saying.

I find it hopeful that the OZ is always enthusiastic about Bitcoin and the Blockchain - he is a real influencer.

I believe that his opinion match the company'policies because just last week Apple revised its stance on Bitcoin in its recently updated App Store guidelines. The company noted that apps can “facilitate transmission” of virtual currencies''

they discuss about crypto mining system and we can justify it. in fact everyone should know that too. but the problem is the ever-changing crypto price that keeps everyone worried.

So it is Wozniaks words against the words of Gates. Lets see how this goes down, to me actually it is enough to hear about btc in mass media to be satisfied.

What he has said is just simple the truth. I don't think he is flattering anybody. Even if  he is a secret investor in crypto that will not change the facts he stated here. It is a good news to the crypto world.

Gold is limitted and there would be a time that mother nature wont give us that in the future. Correct me if im wrong but bitcoin has 20% left to mine. Maybe you are pertaining to cryptocurrency per se where people can produce altcoins using mathematical variables and codes.

Good news for those who can hold and wait, this personalities will keep showing up inside crypto business they will give their own positions and media will hyupe it out, both can make impact positive and negative will also be speculated, the good thing here is more people will be aware that even big businessman are also involves with crypto industry and they will begin to have interest and invest also their money.

these are the things that we have already known. none of it is really news but it is good to hear it out loud and being said by others specially some public figures. although this wasn't such a big news as OP puts it.

What Apple founder Steve Wozniak discussed was Ethereum coin alone, he was more interested in Ethereum than bitcoin. is this a sign that Ethereum will stand alone without being affected by bitcoin?
I think this is a big breakthrough for Ethereum who has the support of Apple Founder Steve Wozniak to grow on its own.
when talking about Ethereum coins, I always believed in ethereum from the first. for me whether bitcoin or Ethereum is the same, this coin is sure to be successful.

What I can conclude from Steve Wozniak's quote and the info from you is that Bitcoin and Ethereum are equally good coins. why Steve Wozniak now prefers Ethereum, maybe this signal for Ethereum will rise high. for example just like you said when Stave Wozniak commented about bitcoin then instantly bitcoin rose to reach its ATH. so what else are we waiting for?

Some people have shown a positive aura about bitcoin, this is a plus point for bitcoin hopefully with these people make bitcoin quickly accepted in people.

Take it from one if the co-founders of one of the most successful companies in the history of the world. The other Steve praising bitcoin means a lot in the cryptocurrency community.

I think these words he wanted to move the price up, but for some reason he did not succeed, in any case, he is not against the crypto and it's great

APPLE is have openly hailed and other institutions like Facebook and Microsoft hails Bitcoin in whispering but keeping calm to others. I think within this year end most of the big institutions will adopt the technology and concept of Bitcoin and in a later stage they will accept Bitcoin and other crypto currency as their local currency for transactions in their site openly.

If a prominent person is giving his opinion on cryptocurrency and with a certain coin.

Isn't it obvious that he holds some of those coins? So base on his statement, you can assume that he has bitcoin and ethereum as well. And just like the people who are spreading FUD, they have against with bitcoin and to make it short it's either those people who are fighting against bitcoin wants cheaper bitcoin.

And for Steve, he wants the same thing in a positive way, he wants to pump the market.

He was actually talking about ETH -- plus I don't think he's just doing this out of the kindness of his heart, he's trying use his name to make the price rise. Little does he know that even with his name the markets aren't going to go magically up and down at the command of someone random, these people don't get it.Steve is wonderful at what he does, but you should never take his investment advice as anything special.

Many people who have a following are tempted to shill the coins they are invested in, McAfee also got a victim of it, so why should not Steve with his technical background say a few words what he like about his fav coins

I think the comment does not literally speak for the entire label itself, but it's nice to have someone from the famous brand commend Bitcoin.

It's good to see that even innovative companies like Apple are taking a positive stance on bitcoin. Usually these companies, though innovative, are actually looking to protect their business and not switch to truly radical ideas like Bitcoin. I think it would have been more realistic to say Blockchain is the innovation however, Bitcoin is just an expected low hanging fruit (payment system) when it comes to applying blockchain to a real world use case.

people like Woz don't make statements to affect the market so you are right about the intention but nobody cares about what they intend to do, the media is always loving this kind of things. they change the statements and make them in any way they like to affect the market since it is still pretty impressionable.

I support this opinion ... it is ... bitcoin will still show what it is capable of.

soon the ETH will outstrip the company by the capitalization of the company! then they generally will speak differently! for a few years, the capitalization of ETH has grown many times in difference from the company apple! the crypto market is very successful, I'm not surprised that if large companies start issuing their ico!

with their greedy i dont think they will approve it, but, they have to adopt to their customers, so they will work with it anyway

this is very good news, the apple-grade company gives a positive value for bitcoin, I think it's a bit boast for bitcoin, we are just waiting for bitcoin development in the world market, if only apple also promote bitcoin in global market, for now apples are ranked top, I'm sure bitcoin will also be faster developed and accepted by all elements of society. ;D

He is a tech guy, he understands and knows a breakthrough technology when he sees one, and he don't want to be the late one, announcing his support to this revolutionary technology and we hope many more tech guys will follow after Steve announcement.

If you want to earn money you need to be updated and those businessman with a lot of followers that can make a huge impact on the value of any cryptocurrency of altcoins that they make statement with, this are pure strategy or they are just bitter because they lost a lot when the value drops.

It is not just scarcity which makes something valuable, it has to have other attributes as well. If scarcity was the only criterion, we could reduce the supply of an alt and make it more valuable. People in tech are more likely to spot the technical brilliance of Bitcoin before others are able to do so.

Comments like this have ceased to make any difference in the long term. If they would make any difference, just some marginal increase in the price of bitcoin which would last for some days and nothing more everything goes back to the initial point price was or even lower before the comment was initially made. The real mover of things that would get us what we all wanted is adoption or penetration. If those comments cannot push for such massive impacts, or not publicized to reach the required audience for the necessary push, ifs better the comment was not passed in the first place and no reason to be joyful or rejoice about a short lived event with no real impact.

The amount of gold mined every year keeps increasing, so even if there is a finite amount of gold, it’s discovery is currently inflationary. In contrast to that, Bitcoin is deflationary because the amount mined every year is decreasing based on its design. That’s why it’s so hard to compare the two right now. I think Bitcoin has a lot of potential on the upside.

I think because apple is a tech giant it favors all technological innovations,  this time it is crypto currency, I guess this is to appeal to the community, but with this move, it only shows that they know what they are doing, sinc e bill gates made an announcement that is against bitcoin, apple on the other hand disagrees with him, I just do not know if this is part of their marketing plan or just a way to contradict bill gates again, nevertheless, this is really good for the community and hopefully they will also release their own crypto currency or even an exchange, since they can do it anytime they want.
