Title: Slow Solo mining VS Pool mining - CGminer.
Post by: Nullu on January 12, 2014, 05:31:20 PM
I'm currently solo mining, but I've found that for some reason my hashrate is a lot lower than I solo mine. I have an R9 280x.

My settings;
Quote
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o 127.0.0.1:9332 -O myname:mypass --gpu-platform 1 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 11200 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune -20

However my hashrate is almost 100mhash slower as compared to when I'm pool mining. Is that normal? Or is there something I need to do to bring it up to speed when solo mining?

Oops. Found the problem.

Mining on CPU with the wallet is a hashrate killer. That's what you get when you copy/paste .conf files ;D
