First time I have run SC in a few days, Downloaded the new client...1.03 When the block chain downloads it hangs on increments of 500. Deleted everything except wallet and .conf, reinstalled, same prob every 500 blocks. Have to close and restart Solidcoin. The BitCoin client does the exact same thing on a fast computer with a fast connection. There seems to be some rate limiting in there somewhere. Just wait it out. I think this is a feature not a bug. It never restarts till I shut it down, never had this problem before with Bitcoin, IXC, I0C, NMC or even other SolidCoin clients till now. You are all kinda right. :) This is a bug which is inherent in Bitcoin but is rarely seen because it hasn't been attacked like SolidCoin was until recently. 1.04 is going to be out very soon which fixes this bug, among other things.
