Title: 6850 NewEgg.com - $129 w/ Coupon+MIR Post by: wndrbr3d on September 04, 2011, 01:48:42 PM NewEgg is having a labor day sale this weekend and they have a PowerColor 6850 for $129 after coupon+MIR. I know the 6850 isn't the best mining card in the world, but at this price it has a really good (if not the best) Mhash/$ ratio. Also free shipping :)
Use coupon code: EMCKAKH26 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131374 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131374) Cheers! ;D Title: Re: 6850 NewEgg.com - $129 w/ Coupon+MIR Post by: mike678 on September 04, 2011, 01:59:09 PM If a 6850 could achieve 300 megahash consistently it would be worth it but according to my thread a couple weeks ago the realistic max is about 280 and average overclock is around 240.

That's better than any card available through retail. I think it'd be a real good deal for someone looking for a decent gaming/mining card. "Purchase between 09/01/11 ~ 09/15/2011 from Newegg.com and Newegg.ca. One rebate per household."Doesn't say anything about 1 rebate per invoice which is the kicker. Just get however many names and addresses of family members you need. I bought 8 powercolor 6870 with 20 dollar rebates and received every single one of them, where as I could only redeem one of my Antec PSU rebates and one of my MSI rebates. In my opinion powercolor rocks for that reason. Title: Re: 6850 NewEgg.com - $129 w/ Coupon+MIR Post by: PiGames on September 05, 2011, 08:05:08 PM I've got 2 of these cards in my gaming rig and occassionally use them to mine.
Out of crossfire + 900mem/250 core I see 250mhashes per card (500 total) at 70c temperature. Title: Re: 6850 NewEgg.com - $129 w/ Coupon+MIR Post by: CoinSpeculator on September 05, 2011, 09:02:14 PM What kind of power usage do the 6850's use? My 5830 rig is sooo fucking hot.
