I want to set up new rig on the beginning with 2x 280x and with 1000w power supply. I will use Xilence 1000 W and i know 1000 W should be enough for 2x 280x. Can I plug in another 280x in the future? Will be 1000W (Xilence 1000 W) enough to run 3x 280x and system? here is the solution: 650 is the limit for 2 3 would reccomend 1000w or more 4 would suggest 1200w or more I will buy corsair 750w and 2x 280x. Get a 1600w PSU if you are going to do that. I myself run 3 R280x card on 1000w, as long as you don't overclock so much should be ok... Psu got pretty hot at some point so I bought a new one.
With 1000W you should have enough for 3 cards. |
