Title: BTC transactions involving multiple addresses
Post by: the_poet on January 13, 2014, 07:36:03 PM
What does it mean when a transaction, for example at Blockchain.info, shows a single address receiving (sending) from (to) multiple addresses? Shouldn't each transaction have only one sender and recipient?

Usually, one of the recipients is actually the sender receiving change (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Change). In any case, there is no reason why a transaction can't have multiple senders and/or multiple recipients.
