Title: Is there a direct debit in a wallet
Post by: Geppetto on January 13, 2014, 08:53:33 PM
Hello!

I perfectly understand that I can issue any payment as the payee from my wallet.
What if I want to allow a telephone company to charge my wallet directly for the amount I used their service every month.
I do not talk about a third party "online wallet" that may handle this.
I want to know if that is possible directly in my wallet: "Allow account X to direct debit amount Y" any time from my wallet.

Thank you
Gepetto

Basically, no.

As more and more companies come online with Bitcoin, this will be possible, but at the moment you'll either need a third party, or to cash out.

Personally, I'd LOVE to see this. But that's kinda what the Bitcoin thing is all about :) To make a new currency, removed from the usual anchors, which will (hopefully at some point) be accessible and acceptable to everyone.
