Which coin according to you will touch $500 first, in 2018? I think Litecoin.

I think litecoin will reach this milestone first, im expecting it will touch this mark in the next bull season while Neo is also a great asset and i think it is undervalued and deserves to be around $200 each but $500 seems too far away for neo at the moment, maybe next year we will see neo grow to that mark.

I think both have the potential to touch $500 one day. It oculd take a while but I am sure that we will see these prices. I am a big fan on Litecoin, because I really think that the asian market will pick it up to integrate it into the peoples daily life.

I would vote NEO to hit $500 first. The main reason is that I have followed Litecoin since about 2014 when it was considered the second best cryptocurrency. It was like silver and Bitcoin was like gold.  I have owned Litecoin in the past for quite a while.

 Litecoin always seemed to lag behind and I have seen many altcoins pass it over the years. It seemed to do well last year but then it stalled out. I don’t have enough confidence in it to buy it any more.

I doubt any of them will touch $500 this year.

NEO is less than half the LTC price today...but in the long run I think NEO will win this race.  I just don't think it will happen this year.

It all depends upon how NEO could attract teams to use their platform, if you look at the price of litecoin, it was pretty stable for quite a long time and i really do not see any mad rally going to happen in it but that cannot be said with NEO as i think there are a bunch of projects which will be using them in the future and it might rally a bit and it can even touch $500.

I guess litecoin because it's focusing on the public crypto payment system rather than NEO on its smartcontract platform. As you can see many people are waiting for the next scalability solution to improve the capability of the network just like lightning network. I believe litecoin will reach it first.

No one can exactly speculate that, everytime there  is a change in price and both of them are just competing each others. But it could be possible that LTC will come into first considering that it is now heading to be long into Top 5 coins in CMC and leaving behind NEO.

It's an hard choice choose between Neo and Litecoin, they are both such a valid coin with a good community and a strong team, Litecoin was going to 500 during the bullrun of december (it hitted almost 400$), so it will be more likely it will be the first to go above 500$, Neo went to 200 during january and maybe it could have been more pumped but the crash of the market stopped it. I think that in the long run Neo will have the highest value because it's backed by the chinese community.

Litecoin and Neo are both great potential altcoin and it possible will reach $500. But if the big possibility to reach that first is litecoin, because of the movement especially her potential and litecoin is more reasonable than Neo. I believe it that both will reach that price.

Most likely to be litecoin because it almost hit it in last bull run (~400$) when Neo all time high is (160$) but who know this crypto and everything can happen.

Litecoin already reached $300 and the price of the litecoin is possible to becom ethousands dollars. But neo is also potential coin and become next ethereum also. But litecoin I think the first who reached $500 because if we see the history price it is very high.

Just going by past all time highs of both, I think Litecoin will reach $500 first.  NEO should also go to $500 within a year.

if we look at the price then neo still 50% less for the same as litecoin, the price difference is quite large and difficult for neo to achieve it in the near future. maybe litecoin will reach $500 faster than neo.

if someone knows it exactly he should write it. then I buy myself 1000 pieces of it and am in some months very rich .unfortunately it is very difficult or almost impossible to find the right one

Both have the chance to touch $500 this year but I think LTC will be the first one to touch that peak. The all time high of ltc is almost $400 so I believe it can happen again and go even higher. NEO still need to improve their technology so many investors will come especially Chinese people.

i think the time is more and more going to functional blockchains like neo.
but keept in mind.
a lot of competition out there (i do not know why eos is that much more valued than neo => still no working product)
and there are a lot of new blockchains coming into game.
give an eye on zilliqua for instance!

and if eth will develop much faster than exceptet,... neo will as well moving much more slow.

Litecoin has higher price now and it has been seen to reach $300 before so I think Litecoin will be the first one to reach $500 between the two.

While NEO is worth $56 now it needs x10 increase so obviously if we'll just look the difference between the two, Litecoin will be the top choice to reach $500.

In 2018, none of them, I do not believe that the Litecoin is able to increase 4 times, and neo and just 8 times. Now coins are a little lost in demand and no longer enjoy such popularity, many are looking for cheaper and more reliable options.

If the market recover the first altcoin will touch at $500 price is litecoin of course, if you look at their price right now the litecoin price is around $100 and the neo is only around $50 so I'm sure the litecoin will be the first touch.

IMO, in 2018, LTC and NEO could not set the exchange rate at $ 500 because current LTC rates are $ 127 and NEO at $ 56. In the future, LTC will probably hit $ 500 before NEO because this project is more potential than NEO. The rate has fallen sharply, from over $ 120 to only $ 50, since the Chinese government banned it.

Who nows market full of surprises. From one side Litecoin already was $400 before so it must easy get to 500. Neo max was under $200, but I think neo has more potential than litecoin so it can reach $500 even faster.

neo has great potential . recently neo launched some good projects . for example , ontology and KEY . if the bull market comes , neo will exceed five hundred dollars .

If this prediction will happen, the whole cryptocurrencies market cap will exceed more than 1 trillion $ level. If current trend will remain, the possibility of such prediction is almost zero.

just logic only I guess and from the price graph of course.. it can already be seen or guessing what the answer. Well, but anyway because that can't be ascertained yet.. it's good if not too wishing more and keep doing the best, I think it's more suitable to trade on both of these coins for nowadays.

it's wrong to compare different projects like this. because you can compare the neo project with ETH.
LTC holder has vast masses. but neo has a substructure that supports the project. in price, the LTC can quickly be $ 1000.
however, NEO price will increase by being considered and will never see its old prices.  8)

Litecoin is tipped to head in that direction this year but it would require more of a market recovery like Bitcoin heading back over $10,000 for that to be possible

I believe that the fate of litecoin is closely linked to that of Bitcoin; in fact, if lightnetwork passes all the tests and goes into operation on exchanges and wallets, then there is little hope for growth for Litecoin. NEO has a very large growth potential, it seems to me. This coin can become expensive. But LTC is also a very strong and promising coin. It seems to me that their potential is equal.

obviously, LTC will touch the 500 USD in short period. Because still LTC will maintain a top level in the market and NEO also promising project so this will going to moon. But 500 USD is not a easy jump and it take two years so peoples are move to some other platform.

Litecoin is more reputable coin than neo but neo can rise faster than litecoin because I don't think litecoin will come with new developments such segwit in the near future.

It's not about reputable or not but instead it's all about Marketing.
did you know what NEO went up so much for a couple months ? it's because their marketing was superb(a months ago you heard this project whenever you went online or using social media,because they're an expert on shilling) on the other hand Litecoin marketing was not that good enough or simply a joke in my opinion.

NEO will hit $500 first before litecoin. Both are good but litecoin doesn't offer anything different, even bicoincash can do the same as litecoin along with every other coin. NEO can host ICOs and DAPPs just like ethereum so it has much higher growth potential

I go with litecoin because it has the potential to be there but I am not saying that NEO is not a good investment at all .

I think both can go up to $500 before 2019 spread the positive thing to raise the price well but with good observation ,potentially strong litecoin to get there because with a temporary value above $120 I think he will stand first yeah

I think that litecoin will reach $500 first because it is the older coin. People seem to love litecoin more than NEO. HOwever, new young investors love to invest their money in NEO due to the technology inside. Both coins bring different advantages but they do help us to develop the world

NEO will get there first because they are building an amazing ecosystem and platform.  Litecoin is just a cryptocurrency and with the lightning network it's become redundant.

There is less possibility for these coins to hit $500 by end of 2018. But LTC would go over $300 minimum and NEO would get to $150 minimum. We can not expect a huge pump when there is a slow growth is seen. Might happen if the teams work towards.  Might require more push to the coins in the market. Buy still these two coins have been well spoken out amongst investors.

With the level of development and support + especially the total supply, it should be LTC. But nowadays, everything seems possible in crypto...

I really think we should consider changing the name of this forum from "Speculation" to "Useless Predictions".

My guess is Litecoin based on its total supply but who knows maybe NEO could be the first to touch $500 too. Whichever touches that said amount, I’m supporting that coin.

I don't think any of them will hit $500 this year. But in based on current price and supply I would predict that Litecoin will be the first to touch it probably in 2019.

both coins to reach the $ 500 price I think are still heavy, old coins like ethereum that will still dominate into the $ 500 price easily. for neo and ltc coins will still continue to require a long process.

I am still optimistic if neo can advance first to the position of $ 500 than ltc, but the two coins are balanced in terms of price. so I think to be able to reach $ 500 in quick time will be difficult and requires but has the potential for the goal to get there.

I think it's NEO because it has a lot of advantages over LTC. I think so too. They both may reach up to $500 one day we don't know yet maybe in the next two years but I think NEO can speed up its price. Just as how ETH did. NEO had started to multiply its token that is running within their chain, this is will show significant growth of price. Its going to be hard to reach though as holders are going to dump even before it reach $500.

what has LTC even done recently? NEO is making improvements and doing work every single day. it is a rapidly growing ecosystem and will explode this year. unless the whole market just continues to be crap, in which case neither one of them will even get close

I do not think that Litecoin will reach the $ 500 mark. I think that $ 300 is the maximum. The same can be said about Neo. He has a long way to go. It does not need it yet, such a high price.

That's right, market price are so unpredictable but I may think that LTC have a huge chances of having that price first. Looking their price gap, its totally far from each other and due to market competition, it really hard to go fast as of what we think.

I think this will be litecoin. NEO is still quite a young coin that will undoubtedly reach a mark of $500, but perhaps it will be next year

These two coins have seen huge price surge last year due to their technology and transaction speed and have the potential to reach $500 soon as bull run hits the market but litecoin might win the race first to reach that level due to its wide usage and liquidity but NEO will also reach there soon.

I don't know if Litecoin has the potential to reach $ 500 at all. The highest price was around 360 $. And it certainly will not do it this year. The only hope for the price increase of litecoin is the growing price of bitcoin. Neo is now much cheaper, but has much better prospects for development and price growth.

IMO, both Neo and LTC will reach $500. My vote is for Neo to touch $500 first.

Looking forward to the current progress, ltc is going ahead but neo is not changing price so neo can surpass 500 dollars by surprise is included in year-end goals.

According to my research, neo 500 can not see the dollar if it can reach this goal btc should be 40k dollars but there is potential of ltc.

LTC is an orphan dumped up by his creator. It won’t reach $500, and LTC is pump-dump coin. It can go down to 135 from 165 one day. I get disappointed at ltc.

Neo is very succesful, new term is for smart contract platforms and Neo team is very succeful and their creation of ecosystem is incredible.
I am a fan of Ontology mostly, and I think Neo has an important role in platform coins more than Litecoin has in payment coins.

I would probably go with neo because i think that people are getting tired of Charlie Lee and are starting to realise how big of manipulator he really is.Still remember his moral dilema when he had to sell ltc at 300$ because  he felt it wasnt right for him to hold ltc but was fine with it when the price was 50$

In my opinion we can agree that both have qualities and are sought every day so this we do not have what to discuss, in the issue of updating NEO launched detail of promises for a better future in the project structure, on the other hand Litecoin does not hold these precepts for the future. Now in the current market what counts is credibility and market time a means of proving solidity for investors, so the coin that corresponds to reach $ 500 is Litecoin in the coming months.

None of them is going to touch $500 during this year, so just forget about that because it is not gonna happen, neither this year, or the next one.

I bet LTC will touch $500 firstly, NEO can't make this before LTC. NEO is a bit hyped and it was pumped artificially. It's reaching a saturation point actually.

Litecoin now are fluctuting slowly in the market so I don't think if they can reach the $500 value, but if they can touch that amount? I'm pretty sure that more investors are running and invest to that coin immediately.

You're right mate. NEO will be the first to touch the $500 price range cause LTC was lost it bullish force ever since Charlie Lee sold all his holding which I told people that it will affect LTC price while some thought it will bullish the price back then.

Of course, litecoin is powerful but price is more than NEO but the price of NEO will be more in the coming days. NEO block chain is very powerful and has the ability to increase the price because the development they are doing in block chain is efficient.

Both LTC and NEO are very good projects and have great teams.  In cryptos, it is always very hard to know what coin will go to what price first or at what time. Rather than worrying about that, both these are at good bargains at current prices so buy and hold for long term.

Both has potential...but first ltc will reach and neo will follow.later who knows neo can overcome ltc down the line  1 year.

It's really hard to know which one will reach to 500$ first cause both of these cryptocurrencies are also really good. But IMO, I still think NEO has more chance than LTC ;D.

For now, NEO blockchain is being used to develop a lot of new ICO projects the same as ETH blockchain and this thing also can make NEO price increase much faster than LTC. Beside don't forget about China supporting ;D

I think LTC has more chances. Because it has already touched near 400$. Neo also has huge upside potential. LTC is global while NEO is Chinese version of ethereum and China is worlds most populated country. So, I am going to invest in both coins. LTC and NEO both are in my long-term investment portfolio.

Litecoin I guess, it has an active developer that's also giving updates so that's helping to make the more popular.

It doesn't matter on what will be the first to touch $500, if the other one goes up I believe the other one will follow.

I think Neo has a great chance comparing to litecoin, with the asian(mostly chinese) people behind of NEO, my choice was NEO before and will be NEO after today.

I think both have huge chances to go up in the current year but I am not ready to accept that LTC and NEO will touch or cross $500. And if they really want to cross this value and reach $1000, they would need to assure people of some great expected future profit and stable prices. Besides, the amount of demand in the market also determines the price of the coin. I think the speculations by the experts will do the job.

the closest is litecoin so it is likely that litecoin will first touch the price. NEO may indeed be altcoin who have potential but I think his Ascension won't be as high as that for this year. still, need to proceed long for NEO to be able to soar. However, for the end result, we see a market just because it's only speculation.

One of the coins is at the level of 110 dollars, the other about 50. It turns out that to achieve this level, neo needs to be doubled, but is there really any increase to such amounts. Most likely not, but 80-100 dollars for neo and up to 200 for Litecoin is more obvious.

if we are thinking about it logically,that's the best explanation that will happen with both of them.but you should have know the fact that NEO trying to become another ETH at this moment right ? just look at it right now.everyday someone will try to create their own ICO based on NEO on the other hand ETH keeps dying.
why ? because we need a lot of space to sync our network(approx 1TB right now) and their nodes keep dying from time to time.also do not forget they're backed by those whales which are a good sign for them in term of Price.

Nobody knows this. Both of them have great fundamentals and belong to top projects in crypto markets. But i think that NEO have bigger potential to bring profits, as it becomes more and more popular for upcoming ICOs.

The truth? None of them will d,because according to what this two coin movements this past 5 months theres no indications that theres a possibility of gaining that big growth,for me it will take couple of years before they both reaches $500

Compared to LTC, NEO has very good future because already we have seen there is huge development happening in NEO background and conducting lot of workshops about NEO to get more awareness about the project.

Me too think litecoin will be the first coin touch $500 then neo. I have no doubt o this coin. Litecoin has been passed the muti years bearish and now the developer also new and always update the software. Neo have big problem since chinese country banned the ICO. And we all dont know when chinese lift the ban

Neo is good enough too, but i think that there is no way that it can easily touch more than five hundred dollars.
