Title: Is this GPU compartible in my Motherboard ?
Post by: alexlandonflicksss on January 14, 2014, 05:19:00 AM
I've planned to use my old PC for mining. It has the following configuration :
MOTHERBOARD : Intel Desktop Board D945GCNL
PROCESSOR     : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz
RAM               : 3gb DDR3 RAM 667 (2+1)
HDD               : Seagate barracuda 500gb 7200RPM
PSU               : zeb-450w sata plus

I'm confused whether to buy a r9 270 or 270x but found r9 270 is cheap and effective too. But people are telling that it won't suit with my motherboard. Some suggested to upgrade my PSU to 550w and it will be fine. But many tell that as that card is a high-end card will be bottleneck-ed by the CPU. What can I do now  ? Will I get the KH/s specified here (http://gyazo.com/bdf4d31a1f97007aa347ed1140fa6609.png).
