Today we would like to introduce the scrypt coin called Jesuscoin.  The coin's acronym is GOD and a maximum of 42000000 coins will be mined (as it is a number signifying the end in the Bible).  If the coin ever actually has a value we the creators would like to spread our coin around as a goodwill coin and encourage donations to the less fortunate.  


More information will be posted shortly.

Blocks mined every 720 seconds.  Retargeting every 3 days.  No block reward until 17280 blocks generated to allow enough time for people to see coin (should be 3 days or most likely less).    40 coins per block (finding a block is a trial -- so were the 40 days and 40 nights)

The Bible and God.  The book's secret Bible code revealed using the Quran as a cipher says that a scryptcoin shall be created and it shall be called Jesuscoin.

Scrypt algo as in the title.  Compiled in windows but did nothing when ran.  Tried to compile it in VS but the ltc src we forked from doesn't work well with VS, neither does btc's :/.  Was hoping someone could get it running in windows.  But to be honest this is just a fun coin/experiment. 

Also, this is not the coin from coingen.  Coingen doesnt do OS X binaries but Windows.  We have the opposite problem xD

Hi! I wanted to post a short update that we have a Windows programmer now who's gonna help get it up and running on Windows.  As someone in the trollbox said, we are the first Proof of Faith coin (with an alternate scrypt hashing POW because we haven't found out a way to code the POF algo yet)!  I will update OP when we get it running on Windows, until then I won't be mining on OS X (and I dont think anyone else is because.. who mines on OS X xD).  We should have Windows binary out before we get to the 17,000 block mark at which rewards begin.  Can also put out a linux binary around then too.

The 'Proof Of Faith' coin made me laugh out loud. Thank you for cheering me up, dude  ;D

A coin introduction is not just a few words of things, it should be used as a project to do, such as white paper, circuit diagram, LOGO, official website, etc., can not be missing
