Title: help with block erupter cube
Post by: keithandr1 on January 14, 2014, 07:48:14 AM
i desperately need help configuring a block erupter cube, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated...as i said im working with a BE cube, my internet ip address is set to a standard 192.168.1.xxx but still when i attempt to connect to the cube with 192.168.1.254:8000 (which i have even done successfully, but on someone elses machine) it doesnt connect. ive updated the firmware on the router, made the ip/dns static and it still wont connect to the configuration screen, im pretty sure his router isnt magical, so if anybody else has any idea what im doing wrong please shoot me some advice, ill do the best i can to compensate anyone who can help me get it working.(.2btc is about all ive got until i get this up and running, but i'll gladly pay it if i get it working today!)

Have you checked to make sure there is nothing else on your local network with a conflicting IP address. For instance a lot of routers have the 254 designation by default. You should check that first if you haven't already. It sounds very much like a conflicting IP if I was asked to put money on it.
